Ok since it is Christmas and due to lots of request, here is this super rare demo audio file track of " Waiting For A Star To Fall " for you, fans! It is one of the unrelease tracks during her Heaven On Earth period. The quality of the sound is pretty poor though. This song was made famous by Boy Meet Girls.

Yes it is confirmed that Belinda Carlisle is going to be on the April issue of PlayBoy magazine. The new Go-Go album will be out early next year near May, follow by an extensive tour! They are now signed to Beyond Record label that brought Blondie back too. All these can be read in details in this latest interview with Jane by the Rolling Stones News. Lastly recently The Go-Go's OUR LIPS ARE SEALED make it to #57 on the TOP 100 of MTV for the last decade.

Jane Wedlin recently said that " The Go-Go's finished recording Monday night. It has been an intense couple of months but I am confident we have created something wonderful. I wish I could reveal details, but I have been sworn to secrecy!!! I will say 14 songs were recorded, probably twelve will go on the cd and the extras will be used for other stuff. (We will need b sides, movie soundtrack songs, and extra songs for foreign territories like Japan.) We wrote about 50 songs for the project and were very critical about which songs made it, so I think the twelve are fantastic. In my mind, performance-wise, we all did some of our best work ever. I can't wait for everyone to hear it! Sean and Paul have returned to Boston, where they live. They will be mixing the record there, and sending the songs out for us to approve as they complete each one. (For those of you who don't know, after you record all the instruments, the producer has to "mix". That means choosing the volume and tone for each voice and instrument, making one harmonious whole. It is technical and time consuming, and often means the difference between a great sounding record and a crappy one.) Sean & Paul are quite famous for their mixing skills, so we all have a lot of faith in them. By Christmas we will have a completely mixed cd! Recently the Go-Gos minus Belinda came together with other artist to raise money for Petra Haden. Belinda could not make it because she is busy shooting for PlayBoy in Thailand and other commiments, she was replace by a surprise guest. Read all about this charity event.

Pollstar is reporting that The Go-Gos are performing at the Turning Stone casino in Verona, NY on 7/12/2000. This is about 1/2 hour from Syracuse.

HOB.COM is now showing the live concert of THE GOGOS at ATLANTA this recent 2000 concert includes 3 new songs Apology, Kissing Asphalt and Sonic Superslide. Belinda made it very clear that the new songs were going to be on the new album, which they are currently recording. She stated the album would be out in April 2001. Through out USA tour 2000 to recent shows like Mixfest at Boston, these 3 songs have been constantly played!

In Singapore, due to the good response to the Runaway Videos VCD (I, alone, managed to obtain 45 odd copies for fans oversea), now Belinda Live (Good Heaven Tour) VCD is release in Singapore. This is a pretty rare live concert worth getting. VHS copies do not last forver and are rare now. LD format cost a bomb from Japan if you manage to find one.
