Dear Hey lots of fan wrote to me regarding my next update of the website as they have heard me saying it will be for New Year......... Yes I never broke my promise, but I never which New Year, well I am actually talking about my country Chinese New Year! Been really busy preparing for this grand festive occasion. There are no significant news yet and below paragraphs are still the main juice. Read these Las Vegas Review Journal interview and concert reivew. It contains all the latest news that all fans should know! It is a brand new 2001 year and this super hit single of Belinda Carlisle has never fade away after like 15 years. It is often heard on radio, clubs and even in a recent movie. The song is of course Heaven Is A Place On Earth. Now listen to these tracks, I bet you never know so many like 7 remixes, acappella/voice version, a 1994 live version and a remastered 1999 version existed. Check those tracks out at the Audio section on my content bar. You will be in heaven! Yes it is confirmed that Belinda Carlisle is going to be on the April issue of PlayBoy magazine. The shots were taken in Thailand. The new Go-Go album will be out early next year near May, follow by an extensive 18 months tour! They are now signed to Beyond Record label that brought Blondie back too. Jane Wedlin recently said that " The Go-Go's finished recording Monday night. It has been an intense couple of months but I am confident we have created something wonderful. I wish I could reveal details, but I have been sworn to secrecy!!! I will say 14 songs were recorded, probably twelve will go on the cd and the extras will be used for other stuff. (We will need b sides, movie soundtrack songs, and extra songs for foreign territories like Japan.) We wrote about 50 songs for the project and were very critical about which songs made it, so I think the twelve are fantastic. In my mind, performance-wise, we all did some of our best work ever. I can't wait for everyone to hear it! Sean and Paul have returned to Boston, where they live. They will be mixing the record there, and sending the songs out for us to approve as they complete each one. (For those of you who don't know, after you record all the instruments, the producer has to "mix". That means choosing the volume and tone for each voice and instrument, making one harmonious whole. It is technical and time consuming, and often means the difference between a great sounding record and a crappy one.) Sean & Paul are quite famous for their mixing skills, so we all have a lot of faith in them. By Christmas we will have a completely mixed cd! We are still talking about a May 2001 release for this, by the way ". Taken from on her website diary. In Singapore, due to the good response to the Runaway Videos VCD (I, alone, managed to obtain 50 odd copies for fans oversea), now Belinda Live (Good Heaven Tour) VCD is release in Singapore. This is a pretty rare live concert worth getting. VHS copies do not last forver and are rare now. LD format cost a bomb from Japan if you manage to find one.
