8/19/09 - It's been two years, but I've finally gotten around to doing an update here. I've posted a lengthy review of X-Men Forever #1 to 5, the new ongoing series from the pen of Chris Claremont.
8/22/07 - Something I've been meaning to do for a while is re-scap the drawing of Cap & Free Spirit by Dave Hoover, to better show off the lovely pencil work on the piece. I've finally done that, and you can view the new scan right here. I moved it over to the Cap's Allies gallery to make that a little more diverse.
7/10/07 - I acquired a couple of nice pages a few months back at the NYC convention held at the the Javits Center, and at last I've posted them in the coffee-drinking gallery: a Common Grounds page by Dan Jurgens & Al Vey, and an X-Factor page by June Brigman & Randy Emberlin. Yep, just in time for the summer heat wave, here's artwork featuring steaming hot caffinated beverages :)
1/31/07 - Eeeek! It's been a while. I've been meaning to add some stuff, but just now got around to it. I just posted a couple of new pieces to the coffee-dkinking art gallery, an Azrael page by Sergio Cariello & James Pascoe, and a Nancy comic strip by Guy Gilchrist. You can view them right here. Enjoy, and let me know if you need any extra milk or sugar.
7/19/06 - I've written a review of New Avengers #21, which also addresses some of the overall themes that have arisen in the Civil War crossover currently being published by Marvel. This is why I stopped writing reviews on a regular basis... I tend to go on and on and on and on. Anyway, if you want to read a really in-depth review, click on this link. Enjoy.
7/3/06 - I recently won a Red Skull sketch on Ebay, drawn by the incredible, legendary Gene Colan. Colan was the penciller on the Captain America title in the early 1970s, and having read those books (via back issues and the Essential Captain America vol 2 TPB) I really thought he did a very striking, macabre rendition of the Red Skull. So I was thrilled to be able to obtain this drawing. You can see plenty more of Colan's fantastic work at his website... http://www.genecolan.com appropriately enough.
