Oscar Winner Suffers Broken Wrist
Actor On Location In Oregon
PORTLAND, 8:03 a.m. EDT June 15, 2001 -- According to industry sources, actor Benicio Del Toro suffered a broken wrist Thursday.
Del Toro was in Oregon to film a movie called "The Hunted," directed by William Friedkin and costarring Tommy Lee Jones.
The cast and crew filmed in Portland for the past few months and switched to the Silver Falls area, near the forested Cascade mountains.
The crew was ready to pack up and head back to Los Angeles when the accident happened Thursday.
Details on how Del Toro was injured were not immediately available.
