Landslides/sildes:
New Jalpaiguri - Siliguri, no problems
Siliguri - Kurseong, Tarai/Shivalik formation. There are slides and subsidence and the area is highly prone to slips.
Kurseong - Tung, Higher Shivalik formation and under watch.
Tung - Ghum, as above
Ghum - Darjeeling, Prone to settlement under heavy rains.
