Fredia J. Harris Couch
October 23,1941 - August 12, 2005

     A private family service for Fredia J. Couch, 63, of Logansport, was held Sunday at St. John's Cemetery.  A celebration of Fredia's life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today in Kroeger Funeral Home.
     She died at 1:16 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, in Howard Regional Health System, Kokomo.
     Born Oct. 23, 1941, in Smithville, Tenn., she was the daughter of Thomas Walter and Odell Parsley Harris Shriver.  She was married Sept. 11, 1958, in Young America, to Paul I. Couch, who survives.
     Fredia had been the office manager for Dr. Robert A. Brewer.
     She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she enjoyed watching and feeding birds.
     Also surviving are three sons, David H. Couch and his wife, Sharon, Hardin, Mont., Daniel I. Couch and his wife, Tina Marie, Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Darrell F. Couch and his wife, Amy, Lucerne; two daughters, Paula J. Chapman and Susann L. Callaway and her husband, Chris, all of Logansport; seven brothers, Harold B. Harris and his wife, Elsie, Peru, Ralph Harris, Illinois, Rex Harris and his wife, Jean, Walton, Grant Harris and his wife, Cinda, Fort Wayne, Bruce T. Harris and his wife, Dee, Steve Harris and his wife, Sue, and Ted Shriver, all of Logansport; three sisters, Geraldine Zoubul, Indianapolis, Judy Frame and her husband John, Texas, and Nancy Samuels and her husband, Norman, Logansport; 15 grandchildren, Jacob and Jordan Couch, Kyle Morehead, Jonathan, David and Lindsay Chapman, Casey, McKenzie and Cassidy Couch, Caden Couch, Emily Allen, and Crystal, Josh, Shana and Shayla Callaway; and many nieces and nephews.
     One daughter, Kmye Odell Couch, two sisters, Frankie Seehase and Joan Harris, and one brother, Jack Harris, preceded in death.
     Pastor Greg Allen officiated at the ceremony.
