 Penny Harrison

Penny Harrison Haynes was special in many ways. She was the twin sister of classmate Jack Harrison, the wife of Larry Haynes, and the mother of one son, Stanley. LHS classmates remember Penny as a popular member of the Cheering Block, Hi-Tri, Art Club and GAA. A lifelong Logansport resident, she was employed at DiversiTech General and a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church. Penny enjoyed square dancing and excelled in sewing, knitting, crocheting, cake decorating and cooking. She led a busy life but is still remembered as someone who always found time to do things for others. She also loved to travel and made several trips by motorcycle. Penny passed away on November 12, 1986. |
