Phillip Alan Wood
October 17, 1941 - April 21, 1971

Phil Wood married Carol Larkin from Kewanna, Indiana, and they had two children, Scott Alan and Kristine Ann (Lavanchy).  Phil died April 21, 1971, a short time after he was diagnosed with melanoma cancer.  The children were 7 and 4 when he died.  His parents were Othello (Olie) and Lillian Wince.

Phil lived in Logansport and worked for Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo in production control.  When he had time to spare Phil enjoyed fishing.  Three of Phil’s closest high school friends are also deceased – Jerry Shields, Jerry Key, and Warren Shively who married classmate Carol Snyder.
