Edinburgh Castle
This is some of our photos from Edinburgh Castle.  It is a beautiful castle that overlooks the city of Edinburgh.  It is hundreds of years old and is also the home to the Military Tattoo.

This is a photo of Bev and I standing in front of the Main Gate into the castle.  On the left is a statue of Robert the Bruce and on the right is a statue of William Wallace. This is a photo of me (Wayne) in front of the statue of William Wallace.

Although you can't see it.  Inside this building, which is at the center of the castle, is the Scottish Memorial to the World Wars.  It is really cool.  Inside they have a chest with all the names of people who died in it (I think it is only the Scottish, but I could be wrong).  Also they have the registers of those who gave their lives. We didn't take a photo inside, because you are not allowed.
This is a photo of Bev looking up at the castle.  It was an amazing site.  (the castle was nice too!)

On the other side of the entrance, there is a lion.  This is me with the lion.
Just outside the memorial building, they have this horse.  This is a photo of Bev with the horse statue.

This is a photo of Bev at the castle with a view of the city.  Beautiful view.
This is a photo I took from one of the cannons.  It overlooks the city of Edinburgh, from the castle.  I think it is a pretty cool pic.
