Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument, Loch Lomond
So on the Wednesday of our trip, Bev and I went on a Coach tour.  We decided to take the tour to Stirling Castle, the William Wallace Monument and Loch Lomond.  We had an amazing time.  We also learned a lot.  Did you know that the story of Peter Pan is loosely based on William Wallace.  Wallace wore a green outfit; had a girlfriend named mary and did a lot of money taking.  Also, the term Black mail comes from a Scottish Cattle theif named Rob Roy.  Apparently he would steal the cows and then send a black ransom letter to the owners.

This is yet another photo from Stirling Castle. This is a photo of Bev at Stirling Castle.  This castle was really cool.  It was almost completely destroyed like 400 years ago.  However, it was obviously restored.

This is one of about 4 beautiful pictures of Loch Lomond.  It really reminded me of the Ottawa Valley.  We were just at the beginnings of the Highlands.

This is another in my series of ducks in foreign lands photos.  You may or may not remember the duck photo from Holland, but here is the Scotland equivalent.

This is Bev's favourite picture of me in Scotland.  This is me with the William Wallace Monument in the background.
