Wembley 1995

Every fan of lower division football clubs dreams of seeing their team play at Wembley. We went there in May 1995 and it was crap. The Ground: The place itself is a tip, it was built in the 1920s and obviously hasn't had any attention since. The seats on the lowest tier do not provide such a good view and its rubbish, just rubbish! The Occasion: Pretty good. In fact, until we entered the stadium, I was having a fantastic day. Had a few beers with some buddies in Oxford the previous night and everything was groovy until about half past two.

John 'Porno' Paskin, tries to set up another attack beneath the famous twin towers whilst a slightly balding man in a black costume runs along looking at him. He wasn't looking quite so hard when Chesterfield scored their two 'illegal' goals was he? The fucker.

The Game: ..was rubbish. Chesterfield were 2-0 up by half time with a goal which was clearly offfside, and one which was handball. CHEATING BASTARDS! There were no further goals and no noise from the Bury fans, of which there were about 12000. It was a bit bobbins really.
