Week 10 Scores

Week #10 (InterDivisional)

West Texas Mustangs 97
Pigskin Pipsqueaks 80

The Mustangs win a close one in Pigskin-land, picking out a
17-point win. The Mustangs were led by the Eagles' defense
with 36 points and Steve McNair with 30. Brett Favre
scored 38 for the 'Squeaks and led all scorers. The
Mustangs improve to .500 at 5-5, and the Pips fall back to
3-7.

Cheeseheads 116
Bemay Gizzards 104

The 'Heads win another close game, this time by 12. Kerry
Collins led the Cheeseheads with 32 points. Curtis Conway
tacked on another 25. Kordell Stewart led all scorers with
46 points for the Gizzards, and the Carolina defense
chipped in another 21. The Cheeseheads move up to 6-4,
while the Gizzards slide back to 4-6.

Missouri Manglers 101
American Looney 85

The Looney passed up a sure upset win over the Manglers by
not starting a QB. Well, he started one, but he didn't
play. Jeff Garcia led all scorers with 46 points for the
Manglers. They also got 21 from the Denver defense.
Johnnie Morton led the Loons with 18 points. The Manglers
keep their league-best record at 9-1, and the Loons drop
to 2-8.

Dawgs 191
Mark's Mules 150

The greatest margin of victory was in the game with the
most points scored. Randy Moss led the Dawgs with his
54-point effort last night. They also got 44 from Aaron
Brooks, 25 from the Pittsburgh defense, 22 from Ricky
Williams, and 20 from John Carney. Rich Gannon led the
Mules with 53 points. They also got 27 each from David
Akers and the Tennessee defense. The Dawgs keep their
division lead at 7-3, and the Mules drop back to .500
at 5-5.

Meek Boys 148
Outlanders 145

With the Meeks ripe for an upset -- all right, maybe not
-- the Outlanders came close to pulling off the upset
victory. The Meeks got 57 from Marty Booker, 37 from
Peyton Manning, and 22 from Marshall Faulk on the way to
winning. Daunte Culpepper led all scorers with 60 for the
Outlanders. They also got 23 from David Boston and 21 from
the Giants' defense. The Meeks improve to 8-2, and the
Outlanders drop back to 5-5.

Butchers 117
McKamikaze Highlanders 114

Can I just say that I'm tired of losing close games? All
right, enough whining from me. Hines Ward led the Butchers
with 22 points. Kurt Warner easily led all scorers with 55
for the Highlanders, but the rest of the team could hardly
score. The Butchers and Highlanders both have 3-7 records
now.
