Week 13 Scores
Week #13 (Divisional)
Bemay Gizzards 151
American Looney 108
The Gizzards continue their push to try to make the
playoffs by winning the game they should against the Loons.
Their 43-point victory was very balanced with nearly
everyone in double digits. They were led by Alex van Pelt
with 33 points. They also got 28 from Joe Horn and 22 from
Darrell Jackson. Mark Brunell led all scorers for the
Loons with 34. The Gizzards move up to 5-8, and the Loons
drop back to an eliminated 3-10.
West Texas Mustangs 134
Meek Boys 76
These are words I'd never thought I'd type: the Meeks were
blown out. Not just blown out, but trampled upon. The
Mustangs were led by Air McNair with 40 points. They got
29 more from the Philadelphia defense and 25 from Ahman
Green. Marshall Faulk led the Meeks with 23 points. The
'Nags improve to 7-6, and the Meeks stall at 10-3.
Butchers 101
Outlanders 99
The Butchers upended the Outlanders and got a nice victory.
Derek Mason and Tony Gonzalez each had 16 to lead the
Butchers. Jake Plummer led all scorers with 30 for the
Outlanders. They also got 21 from the Cleveland defense.
The Butchers grasp at 5-8 for a playoff spot, and the
Outlanders drop back to 6-7.
Missouri Manglers 140
Mark's Mules 102
With the Meeks stumbling this week, the door was left wide
open for the Manglers to grab the #1 playoff spot, and
they did it with gusto. Priest Holmes led the Manglers'
attack with 53 points. The Manglers got 23 more from
Antowain Smith, 21 from Jeff Garcia, and 20 from the Denver
defense. Rich Gannon led the Mules with 34 points. The
Manglers move up to 11-2, and the Mules drop back to 7-6.
Dawgs 109
Cheeseheads 49
The Cheeseheads faltered this week offensively, and the
Dawgs ripped into them while they were down. Donovan
McNabb had 35 to lead all scorers for the Dawgs. Randy
Moss was close behind with 34. Kerry Collins led the
'Heads with 17 points. The Dawgs keep their division lead
at 9-4, and the Cheeseheads drop to 6-7.
McKamikaze Highlanders 117
Pigskin Pipsqueaks 80
In the big QB showdown between Kurt Warner and Brett Favre,
Warner came out on top again to lead the Highlanders to a
37-point win. He had 39 for the Highlanders and led all
scorers. Favre had 25 to lead the Pips, and the Miami
defense added 22. The Highlanders move up to 5-8, and the
Pips drop back to 4-9.
