Week 10 Scores

Outlanders 141
WhoDey 77

The lowly Outlanders rose up this week and smacked down
WhoDey in a somewhat lopslided contest this week. Isaac
Bruce led all scorers with 45 points for the Outlanders.
They also got 31 from Warrick Dunn and another 30 from
QB Aaron Brooks. WhoDey got 41 points from the Baltimore
defense, but that was about it; four of their starters were
held scoreless this week. The Outlanders double their win
total and move to 2-8. WhoDey drops to 3-7.

American Looney 100
Pigskin Pipsqueaks 92

In a very close game, the Loons edged the Pipsqueaks by a
scant 8 points. The Loons were led by a pair of 23-point
performances from David Carr and the Tennessee defense. I
must admit that I wonder why the Loons still carry Brett
Conway, who isn't kicking for any NFL team at the moment.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the ball, Brett Favre
continues his excellent performance with 45 points, leading
all scorers. Deuce McAllister chipped in 23, too, but
three of their starters fell victim to the zero bug as well.
The Loons move up to a solid 6-4. The Pips remain tied with
WhoDey at 3-7 in the Lombardi Division.

West Texas Mustangs 150
Missouri Manglers 66

Speaking of lopslided contests, this one was even moreso.
The 'Nags rose out of their own last-place grave and upset
the favored Manglers. Plaxico Burress' monster day of 56
points led all scorers in the league. The Mustangs also
got 29 from Jamal Lewis and 23 from Steve McNair. Jeff
Garcia led the Manglers with 17 points. The Mustangs
improve to 4-6. The Manlgers drop back to 6-4.

Meek Boys 170
Mark's Mules 158

As most games with the Meek Boys go, the Meeks won it again
on the strength of the Peyton Manning-Marvin Harrison bond.
The two scored 102 points between them. Solid scoring from
the rest of the team brought them the win. The Mules got
54 from Rich Gannon last night, and it was almost enough,
but not quite. Both teams remain in first place in their
respective divisions: the Meeks at 9-1 and the Mules at 8-2.

Butchers 110
Dawgs 103

In the Edge Close Shave of the Week, the Butchers slid by
the Dawgs on a razor-thin 2 point margin and got the upset
win. Check my math, folks! Brian Griese led the Butchers
with 29 points. Ryan Longwell's busy day at the tee chipped
in another 26, and Hines Ward got 22 more for the Butchers.
Donovan McNabb led all scorers with 39 points for the Dawgs,
but that was about it. The Butchers move up to 5-5, and the
Dawgs fall to a similar record.

McKamikaze Highlanders 142
Bemay Gizzards 101

Last week's strong lineup got the Highlanders by the
Gizzards again. Tom Brady put up 50 points, most of them
in the last quarter of his game against the Bears. The
Highlanders got 29 last night from Jerry Rice and another
22 from his hometown Giant, Tiki Barber. The Gizzards were
led by Amani Toomer with 16 points. The Highlanders move
up to 5-5 to tie the Dawgs for the Lombardi Division best
record. The Gizzards fall into a last-place tie with the
Mustangs at 4-6.
