Week 8 Scores

Dawgs              166
Outlanders         108

In a matchup of division leaders, the Dawgs 'ruff' up the 
Outlanders, Hasselbeck threw for 53, running backs put up 
combined 49, Horn caught 24, and the Rams DS got another 
24. The Outlanders' Johnson (sorry, couldn't pass that up, 
John :), Brad, Chad, and Keyshawn combined for 52 BFL 
points, Alexander ran for 22, the Titans DS got 17, but 
William Green scored 0, doing the DWI-a-dope. The Dawgs 
are 7-1 and The Outlanders are 6-2.

Ferrets            104
Butchers           100

In the 'Edge close shave' (*winks at Scott*) of the week, 
the Ferrets come out with more (or less??) hair than the 
Butchers. The Ferrets Trent Green got 43, and everybody 
else scored, the Butchers got 30 from Brooks, 26 pulled in 
by Ward, 13 caught by Gonzalez, but this game was decided 
by the DS, the Ferrets Dolphin DS fished, and pulled in a 
big 34, the Butchers only got 7 from the 49ers, making the 
'Edge' difference. The Ferrets are now 5-3, the Butchers 
are 2-6.

Meeks              149
Highlanders        128

The Meeks win with the mideast "Colt winds of Autumn", 
Peyton throws for 47 and the Indy receivers, Wayne and 
Harrison, combine for 44 along with that. Highlanders get 
54 (Stephen Davis back in form = 35) from their running
backs and everybody scored on the roster, but again, this 
game is decided by the DS, the Bucs DS scores 33 (against 
Dallas who showed they aren't for real, shutout) for the 
Meeks, the Seahawks DS only manages 4 for the Highlanders. 
The Meeks go to 6-1-1, Highlanders are now at 4-4.

Pipsqueaks         168
Mustangs           113

The Pipsqueaks go high scorer in the BFL this week with 47 
tossed in by Collins, 27 from running backs, 40 from the WR 
spot, and again, the Kansas City DS, keeps they as the only 
undefeated team in the NFL, coming up with a big 41 BFL 
points. The Mustangs got 51 from the WRs, but McNair could 
only air for 23, and not enough from the rest, to prevent 
the loss. Pipsqueaks are now 5-3, and Mustangs are 2-6.

Gizzards           122
Manglers           112

The Gizzards win with the Culpepper (39) to Moss (32) 
connection even as the Vikings lose their unbeaten status 
(at home even) to the NY Giants, and the Panthers DS clawed 
for another 21, Corey Dillon crashed his car (and maybe his 
season, were him and William Green hanging out?) for zero. 
The Manglers runnings back scored 6 TDs combined, totaling 
63 BFL points, Garcia got 28, but the Dallas DS faded only 
scoring 4, and PK Owen "Owing us some points" Pochman got 
fired by the 49ers (and the Manglers :), as they lost to
Arizona. The Gizzards and Manglers are both now 3-5.

Mules              128
Looney              62

The Mules win with recently acquired rookie RB Domanick 
Davis going high scorer in the game with 29, Eddie George 
23, Shipp 18, that is 70 points combined from the RB 
position, great scoring down the rest of the card, 
everybody else in double figures except Andre Johnson. The 
Looney get another good game from Tomilinson with 22, and 
Jimmy Smith 19, but QB Carr only pitches in 11, and too 
many zeroes on the rest of the roster. The Mules are now 
3-5 and Looney go to 1-5-1.
