ROBBIE'S ANGEL SONG WORKS REAL MIRACLE
By PHILIP CARDY

A LITTLE boy who cannot talk or walk has found a way to communicate with his mum - after learning to HUM Robbie Williams' hit song Angels.

Doctors warned that cerebral palsy sufferer Connor Dufrasne, four, would only be able to get his thoughts across by pointing at objects.

But out of the blue pop fan Connor, who loves hearing Robbie sing on the radio and TV, started to hum Angels without missing a note.

Now he can also hum the star's new chart-topper, She's The One, and other tunes.

And when his mum Grace asks him a question, he can sometimes respond with an appropriate melody.

Grace, 26, said: "The other morning I asked him what he wanted for breakfast. I wasn't really expecting a reply but he hummed the Coco Pops advert song."

The overjoyed mum - who also has a seven-year-old son, Khyl - added: "It's a miracle Connor can finally communicate with us. And it's all thanks to his hero Robbie Williams."

Last night Robbie was thrilled when he learned how his music had helped Connor - and sent a personal message to the tot through The Sun.

The 25-year-old singer said: "Words fail me when I hear stories such as this. It's amazingly touching. Keep at it, Connor. Be strong."

Single mum Grace, of Wavertree, Liverpool, was moved to tears when she first heard Connor humming. She said: "I've tried to stimulate him as much as possible and I could see he loved music as he would rock and smile whenever I had the radio on. "I got MTV so he could listen to music whenever he wanted. "One day he was watching Robbie sing Angels and he just hummed it perfectly. I was amazed and he was thrilled."

Grace added: "It has made such a difference to him - you can see how happy he is. "It can be very frustrating for him not being able to make his feelings known, even though he's very good-natured."
