和 平 的 意 願

火車上，解放的長嘯

月台上，自由的誓言

貪婪的野草

長滿野心家的心田

和平的意願

閉起心眼，視而不見

候鳥也不再依戀

烽火連天的家園

多少天，痛苦圍繞在身邊

多少年，幸福離得太遙遠

總會有那麼一天

回到歡樂的從前。　

　

An Aspiration for Peace

On the train, the foghorn whistles to signify liberation

On the platform, the promises of freedom was made

Avaricious weeds grew within ambitious hearts

The heart is shut towards aspirations for peace

Even seasonal birds depart without reluctance

Wild flames of battle raging in the homeland

How many days, pain and suffering encircles?

How many years, is happiness too far away?

With hope that there shall be a day

When we can return to the happiness of yesterday
