Begging
The same is true for Karn also. Karn of Mahaabhaarat, was very brave and certainly have defeated Arjun. That is why Indra had to come to get his Kavach through begging. There was no other way to secure Arjun's victory over Karn.

Living Beings
There are four kinds of living beings by the method of their birth - (1) Jaraayuj - who are born from womb, eg human beings, 4-legged animals etc , (2) Andaj - who are born from eggs, eg chicken, birds etc; (3) Swedaj - who are born from sweat, eg low species insects, worms, insects, flies etc; and (4) Udbhij - who are born by breaking earth, eg treees; and three kinds of living beings by their habitat - who live in water, who live on land, and who fly in sky.

Tanmaatraa
Tanmaatraa is the subject of each Indriya (sense), for example smell is the Tanmaatraa of nose, seeing (Roop) is the Tanmaatraa of eyes, hearing (Shabd) is the Tanmaatraa of ears, taste (Ras) is the Tanmaatraa of tongue, and touch is the Tanmaatraa of skin.
