Well, it looks as if we can now
add beauty pageants to nightclubs, mini skirts, ham sandwiches,
bikinis and other people's religions, which are "an insult
to Islam". The problem for the western world is that we have
been importing people into our societies which have this incredible
mindset, and everything in the western world is an "insult
to Islam."
Nigeria used the Miss World pageant
to showcase Nigeria as a thriving, sophisticated country. Well,
they showcased it all right, but not quite the way they were expecting.
Someone forgot that Nigeria is a multicultural country where half
the people are muslim. And the muslim half of the population are
demanding that the other half must bend the knee to Allah. Or else.
The casualty rate so far, 215 dead
and rising, a score of churches burned down and a newspaper office
sacked and gutted. Once again it is apparent that muslims regard
killing anybody who opposes the will of Allah as a legitimate means
of displaying legitimate political opposition. This behaviour plainly
indicates that muslims are a dangerous people who's value systems
are incompatable with a modern, secular state.
Some people may claim that this
episode was the result of religious extremists behaving badly in
an undeveloped society and would not, could not, happen in advanced
western societies where the immigrant muslim population is much
more sophisticated and moderate. But we are now seeing this mindset
and behaviour in the west as well.
The incident in Nigeria is similar
to the Salmon Rushdie affair in Britain. When a little known author
wrote a book mildly satirical of Islam, a Fatwa death sentence was
put upon his head by the Ayatollah Khomeini.
But Britain is an advanced nation,
and one would have expected the "moderate British" muslims
to laugh the whole idea off. But no, they took the whole crazy idea
as a divine instruction. Naturally one would have expected the "moderate"leaders
of the muslim community in Britain to calm "their" people
down and not to be stupid. But no, the muslim leaders not only demanded
that all muslims should murder Rushdie, many off them expressed
the hope that they would be the lucky ones who would have the honour
of murdering Rushdie themselves.
Even former pop star Cat Stevens,
who wrote "peace" songs in the 1970's (before converting
to Islam), calmly told reporters that if he saw Rushdie, he would
kill him.
What followed were riots, book burnings
and the smashing of bookshop windows. "Moderate British"
muslims are now demanding that school holidays be changed to comply
with Islamic holidays and festive occassions, even though these
dates vary with the phases of the moon. But if that was not enough,
"British" muslims also demanded that the Education Department
stop teaching children about evolution, as it was plainly contrary
to the Koran.
Here we had muslims in the birthplace
of Charles Darwin, arrogantly demanding that the British Education
Department not teach their children about evolution because it contradicted
the teachings of Allah.
Here again is proof that by importing
people into Australia that still possess a medieval mindset, we
are creating avoidable social problems through our misplaced sense
of tolerence. We can not be tolerent to people who are intolerent,
nor can we build a socially united, cohesive society by importing
people who's value systems are diametrically opposed to our own.
All that we are doing is creating a polarised society separated
by a vast social and cultural chasm.
The storm clouds are gathering,
and the first portents of social disaster are beginning to manifest
themselves.
When the "Soul Fitness"
women's gymnasium in Bankstown declared that it would not accept
non muslim women as members, one would have thought that the appropriate
anti discrimination agencies would have threatened the owners with
legal sanction. But no, the NSW Anti Discrimination Board found
in favor of the gynmnasiums muslim owners and non muslim women were
banned. This created a firestorm of controversy in the Sydney newspapers,
as Australians began to realise that even their own agencies were
conspiring to allow muslims to discriminate against them, in their
own country.
So weighted are the officials of
government departments against our own people, that we the people
are becoming spectators in a multicultural democracy over which
we seem to have less and less control.
Another portent was the furore over
Bankstown Square Shopping Mall, where muslims claimed that the Centre's
playing of Christmas carols at Christmastime, was an "insult
to Islam". The Centre had to stop what had always been a long
accepted and popular tradition, because of the opposition of the
local muslim community. Naturally, the Hindu's, Buddhists, Bahai,
Confucians, Shintoists, Sikh's and atheists who also used the mall
were not similarly offended, and saw no reason for complaint.
If there is one defining characteristic
of the muslim mindset, it is their hyper sensitivity to even the
mildest criticism of their faith. Naturally this does not work the
other way round, as the burning synagogues, temples and churches
in Indonesia, Malaya, Bondi Junction and Greenacre can attest. It
is alright to blow up 2000 year old Buddhist statues and slash paintings
of the crucifiction with knifes, but any slight towards Islam will
get them worked up into paroxysms of rage. This has now reached
the most absurd levels.
When the Nike' footware company
released a new jogging shoe, the wavy decorations around the heel
of the shoe, were claimed by moslems to resemble the word "Allah",
written in Arabic script. Any intelligent, reasonable person would
immediately come the conclusion that the whole thing was just coincidental
and shrug the whole thing off. But we are not dealing with reasonable
people here. To the moslems, this was obviously an American Jewish
plot to insult Islam by writing the word "Allah" on the
feet of infidels. Nike executives were threatened with death and
bomb scares disrupted the production of Nike factories all over
the world.
This paranoid mindset of moslems
was also displayed with the death of Princess Diana. The whole bloody
moslem world thinks she was bumped off by British Intelligence for
having a muslim boyfriend.
There may be those who believe that
I am indicting an entire class of people on the behaviour of some
extremists. But the examples that I have given to illustrate the
divergence of values between the Islamic world and our own, are
most notably not the opinions of extremists, but of ordinary, everyday
moslems already living in western society. These are the opinions
of the so called"moderates".
Now if you want extremists, one
need only seek the opinions of Sheik Abu al-Masri, one of an army
of Islamic scholars who are giving real meaning to the term "Islamic
Fundamentalist" The Sheik believes that all non muslims are
"like cows" and should be taken by muslims as slaves.
"If a muslim cannot capture his enemy, he should kill him.",
he was quoted by the London Sunday Times. Sheik al-Masri openly
incites muslims to kill non believers, telling his followers "Kill
them, it's okay" He also claims that the Americans and the
Jews were responsible for the WTC bombings and also the attack on
the USS Cole in Yemen.
With blokes like al-Masri, people
in the west are beginning to think, with some justification, that
the nouns "Arab" and "terrorist" are all one
word. But al-Masri does not live in a cave in the tribal areas of
Pakistan, he is a resident of London. By bringing muslims to Australia,
we have bestowed to them and their violent, hostile and unappeasable
religious leaders, a rich soil to plant the seeds of muslim discontent.
Unfortunately, it will take the first explosions in Australian restaurants,
buses and nightclubs, or a whiff of cyanide gas in an underground
railway system, to shock some people out of their naive state of
denial.
One can only hope that those with
pro muslim attitudes and social ideologies bordering on unrealness
are in the very close vicinity when the first bomb goes off.
