Killer Yahoo! Go ! Here are some tips.......
Please include these missing features that will make Yahoo Go 2.0 a killer application:
1. Flickable interface: Interface is everything. Get a clue from iPhone and give users flickable interface within Yahoo! Go.
2. Yahoo Messenger: Full yahoo messenger application with voice chat. This will compete with skype for mobile.
3. Mobile browser: Yahoo Go already has a mobile browser built in. Why not make it a full fledge downloadable browser? Acquire Opera for that matter if required. If not, make OneSearch smart enough to distinguish between a 'url' and a common search. For example when some one types "www.nytimes.com" just like an ordinary browser, it should directly open the website instead of related info. If nytimes is typed than it may behave the way it is behaving currently.
4. Improve performance of maps: Improving performance of maps is a very important. Google Maps and Live Maps for mobile are way too faster and lighter than Y! Go.
5. Customization: Changeable themes for Yahoo Go. Nobody wants to keep the same colors. Giving power to users will only encourage more usage and perhaps new ideas.
6. Dialing interface: Yahoo Go should have a native keypad that allows users to dial numbers from within the interface. Unlike current method in which users go to WM5 dialing interface.
7. Overall performance improvement: Currently, the application is very slow. It needs to be as fast as possible to compete smart products coming up from google and microsoft.
