| The Maxie Smith Memorial Award is an award given each year to a senior athlete who shows excellence on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. It is named in honor of Maxie Smith, a student-athlete at RBS who passed away in a tragic car accident in 1976. His number 24 is now retired and hangs in the trophy case in the main lobby. |
