YAY!!!!!!!!! Our phones work now. woohoo! (We're just $45 poorer. Boo!) Now my problems are 50% solved. Now I can call my sweetie! Or well, I can tomorrow since he works. *sigh*
On another note, today I got called into a meeting with 3 of the higher ups. The vp started asking me how long it takes me to do some of the tasks I'm assigned. I thought for sure that he was trying to point out that if it takes me only a few hours for my few tasks what am I doing with the rest of my time. But nope! He wanted to tell me that I was going to be put to more admin work between the 3 of them instead of just the one that I had been reporting to. Its perfectly fine with me. I'd actually love more work and more challenge. Then the vp (who I've been so deathly afraid of--and still am to some extent) complemented me on my good work and told me to keep it up. Whew! I thought I was done for. heehee. Thank goodness for that! =)

Oooh....Thanks to Jules, I found out that KASCON is going to be held at UCLA this time. Woohoo! Last time I couldn't go because it conflicted with an exam and plus I didn't have enough money (I didn't have the time/energy to raise any). The people who did go said that the next site would probably be either UW, BU, or UPENN so there went any chances of me ever going. But since its at UCLA, maybe I could convince Tammy to go. Yeah, I know, I'm not in college anymore and I'm definitely not connected to the KSA anymore, but I can't help it. I feel like its something I should do. Although, now that I think about it, it would probably be just a waste of money since the whole conference is just a front for the meat market it really is. Sorta like Yonsei...only at Yonsei I could do stuff outside of the program (like visiting the country...oooh that was fun. I miss Korea *sigh*). Hrmm, to go or not to go?

AHA! It wasn't my computer's fault, and it wasn't my fault. Do you know whose fault it was? I'll give you one clue. Fucking AT&T! (Fucking dumb shit made me doubt myself and frustrated me beyond belief!) There's something wrong with the 3rd IP but I have to call in with my nice new ticket number. Uhhhh....still working on the phone problem. hehe. I have 2 days with the ticket. PacBell repairman comes tomorrow...so we'll see. *crossing fingers* I miss Grant...the babo can't call me like he said. much boohar...but not so much boohar now that I have 25% of my problem figgered out. Anyway...since there's no phone I want to talk to people via IM, but computer has a conflict so internet does not work. No internet means I want to call one of my "favorite" computer geek friends (ie lester. hahha jk!!!) but then...no phone! Its a tiring, never ending vicious cycle and it makes me feel as if my entire life is now on hold. The thought of actually wishing I could stay at work all the time actually crossed my mind. Now that's a bad sign.

Dealing with the ATT internet service last night made me extremely bitter. eh. The whole additional IP thingie got screwed up and I didn't get to clear it up until this morning. Hopefully all is well now and I can finally hook my computer up and get my life back into order. I miss my IM. heehee. But yay!! I love my new computer. Its smaller than normal, but its so cute! heehee. ahhh...I love spoiling myself. =)

ATT can kiss my ass gosh dammit. They promised us a full credit and we even switched to their service..the bastards. And now? Now we owe PacBell 75.12 and almost got our service disconnected. I got them to delay it 2 weeks while AT&T says "sorry, there's nothing we can do. Send your dispute here. It'll take 4-6 weeks." So fuck. what the hell am I supposed to do? Hello?!?!?! We shouldn't have even gotten charged $3.46 a minute in the first place!!!! I mean..what the fuck!? I hope something bad happens to that company real soon. Bastids.

EEEERRRRK! I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to bitch a bit here...I've been holding it in for way too long as it is already.
So last night I got to talk to Grant. We always talk for about 2 hours on Sundays, plus maybe a little more on weekdays but I don't get to talk to him THAT much. Well, I'm not on the phone all that much overall anyway. Anna's the one who is always on the phone with all these fucking people calling her. Last night, in the 2nd hour of my phone call so many freaking people kept calling. After a while it was just getting ridiculous and I would just tell them that I was on the other line and that I would tell Anna to call them later. Well, this one chick just couldn't wait or something. She called once. Then she called again asking when Anna would be able to call her back so I said about 30 minutes. Then she calls back one last time and I'm like "I'll tell her to call you back" and she's just like "Well, its been over half an hour." I'm just like WTF?! How rude is that? I was just so irritated I had to get off the phone with Grant. I should've told that bitch "Actually, its only been 27 minutes but since you're being such a bitch about it just wait kay!" EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I mean, HELLO! Anna isn't the only one that lives here. She was sleeping anyway. And its so annoying that the phone is always ringing for her and then she's never home so we always have to take messages for her. Or like, she'll interrupt my conversations to tell me she needs the phone. I don't even do that. How Rude! Some people just need to learn proper phone etiquette. >.< Help!
