| Once over the bridge, I broke out with the lead group and we hammered into the headwind. It was Brad, ATF Steve, SWAT Steve, and Tony from left to right. Once I got into town, it was a hunt for panniers as Shawn and I would bike the rest of the way self supported. The town of London can be better described as a thriving metropolis than a town. But you can still see what it once was (below). I did find a good set of panniers and once we got a little larger back tire on my bike we were ready to load up. Everyone in the ABB group were really cool about our departure and all their supportive goodbyes meant a lot. We will miss everyone and we wish them safe travels to New Hampshire. Thanks for making it an unforgettable adventure and as my friend says "rubber side down." |
