回顧奧斯卡的歷史不難發現一些頭緒，2007年有份投選奧斯卡各項2008年入圍名單的會員維持
近幾年的評選風格，在選片方面都作出一定程度的挑戰和改變。由于今年出現一堆有實力的影片，沒有"一片獨大"的局面。當今好萊塢電影世界裡高度商業化的催化下，目前的獨立電影屬清流小品，在劇本上下了不少功夫，容易得到會員團的垂青，在演技獎方面可以找到突破點。反觀大製作的口碑一般，曲高和寡，選擇性又不多。賣座電影中多屬動畫片和科技片，其傾向于角逐電影音樂或技術性質的獎項。 至于在提名方面，<黑金風雲>可以是9項，以目前石油價格高漲的情況下，這一部片子具有一定的代表性。隨后的<險界追蹤>最多也可能是8項左右，然后6-4項提名的電影有<追風的狂野>，<魔街理發師>和<贖罪>。<律政狂人-米高克萊頓>的提名或許有7項左右。<未婚妙齡時>的3項提名數目也跟隨以往獨立作品的 提名傳統模型。史詩黑幫片<美國黑幫>意外落馬的機會很大。 2007/2008年標金。。。預測入圍名單表
近幾年來，奧斯卡的提名形式講求"不一樣的名單"，即意于不與其他各個大大小小的協會或評委會開出相同的提名名單，以威脅其獨有的公信力。極具史詩式文藝野心之作品<愛.誘.罪，Atonement>的命運看來就像幾年前的<寒山，Cold Mountain>一樣，只能依賴一些技術獎撐場。<魔街理發師>的整體評價褒貶不一，<決戰猶馬鎮，3: 10 to Yuma>又是一部翻拍舊作影片。原本由一班超級巨星領演又極被看好的喜劇影片<韋氏風雲, Charlie Wilson's War>，由于明星效應過度，商業味重而惹反感。
由于在"白人主義"至上的影響下，<色.戒>一片中的兩名演員梁朝偉和湯唯，在兩個演技項目上爭出線的幾率不大。李安的入圍機會也不高，只有在攝影，藝術和配樂項目欄中與其他影片一決高低。 |
