Press Release -- Stories from the Old South, is a personal take on what started off as a collative work by two photographers. The pictures you are about to see in the following pages are the product of only 3 days on the backroads and dirt tracks of 3 Southern States.
These initial photographs paved the way to further visits of these enchanted places by the photographers, by then their ways having parted.
Bikem Ekberzade, the curator of the photographs you will see in this exhibit currently resides in Istanbul and is working as a freelance photojournalist. |
