P.S. Ben completed his dissertation
defense on June 29, so has completed his doctorate in Chemical
Engineering at the University of Texas, Austin - Congratulations!
Ben will be worked at Texas Instruments
in Dallas.

We did just a bit of sight-seeing -
mostly getting familiar with Springfield.
We drove around downtown, of course.
We had already visited the wonderful
Lincoln stuff there.
On the north edge of town is a park with
the Lincoln Tomb:
