"Well look who is up duchess, it's our birthday girl. Happy birthday beautiful!" Brock said.
"Hi dad, and thank you." Mac says as she walks over and kisses him on the cheek and hugs Kay. "I can't believe I am seventeen now."
"I know darling, you're growing up so fast, soon enough you'll be eighteen and twenty-one, and then you'll be married with kids."
"Whoa! Grandma I'm only seventeen!" said Mac, laughing. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves now."
"Oh Mac I know, I was just wondering, you know. Don't you ever wonder?" asked Kay.
'Yes I wonder what it would be like married to Billy. But how could I even think about that after what he has done to me?' Mac thought.
"Mac? Hello Mac?" Brock and Kay said.
"Oh what? I'm sorry I was thinking about something." Mac said. Kay looked at Brock and Brock looked at Kay and he nodded.
"Well Mac I guess we can give you your present now. You have to go and get it. It's much too big to bring in the house and I don't think your father could carry it." said Kay.
"Well where is it at? I will go and carry it and bring it in the house!" said Mac smiling.
"Well honey, it's in the garage and I don't think you'll be able to. But you can try." said Brock chuckling.
"Ok." Mac said as she thought about what it might be and why it was in the garage. No one ever goes into the garage.
She walked down the hall to the garage door and opened it. There she saw a brand new 2001 redish-pinkish Mustang GT Convertible Cobra!
"Oh my gosh!!! Grandma, dad come here! It's great! Thank you so much!" screamed Mac.
"So you like it?" asked Kay.
"Like it? I LOVE it! It's great!" Mac said as she was walking around the car looking at it. She looked at the license plate and it read, 'BEUTFUL'. Mac looked at it and tears started to burn in her eyes, that was what Billy had always called her. Her dad started calling her that after the prom and he didn't know that's what Billy called her.
"What's the matter Mac?" asked Kay as she saw the tears in her eyes. "Is something wrong?"
"No grandma, it's just that it is so nice." said Mac. "And to think that you got it for someone like me."
"What are you talking about Mac?" asked Kay. "Someone like you?"
"Well I'm going to go inside and get cleaned up. I'm going to let my daughter take me for a ride in her new hot ride." said Brock walking towards the door, not knowing where this conversation was heading and not really wanting to know.
"Ok," said Mac. "And dad....thank you."
"You're welcome, beautiful." said Brock with a very big smile. Just hearing the word beautiful made Mac want to see Billy and have him hold her and call her that nine letter word.
"Ok Mackenzie, what are you talking about the kind of person you are?" asked Kay nervously.
"Grandma, you know what I did this summer and I'm not proud of myself for that and you know how I feel. Then seeing the license plate just made me think of Billy and then this summer."
"Mackenzie darling, you did nothing wrong. It was all Billy. He had sex with Brittany and hurt you. You did nothing wrong, all you did was love him and you thought he loved you too." said Kay walking towards Mac and hugging her.
"Oh grandma, I miss him!" said Mac crying.
"I know you do darling." said Kay getting tears in her eyes. She could not stand seeing Mac like this and on her birthday.
It has been a few days and Mac has been driving the heck out of her new car. It has been too cold to drive with the top down. Mac was at work and it had started to snow.
"Man it's sure coming down out there!" said Cody.
"Yea it sure is and I have to drive in it!" said Mac a little nervous.
"Well Mac your shift is almost over, so why don't you just go ahead and go now." said Cody, noticing the nervousness in her voice.
"No, no. I'm okay Cody." Mac said. "Really I can finish up here. I'm sure it won't quit on me or anything!" said Mac laughing.
"Ok, well if you're sure. But if you get to the point where you feel the need to go, you can just go."
"Great! Thanks Cody!" said Mac. 'Man I sure hope it gets better out there. It's really coming down. Well if anything happens I always have my cell phone.'
Just then Brittany walkes in and heads straight over to where Mac was cleaning off a table.
"Hi Mac, nice car. How much begging did you have to do to get that?" said Brittany, with a big smile on her face.
"Actually Brittany, if it was any of your business which it's not I got it for my birthday, no begging necessary, unlike you. Oh did Billy go back to you after all that begging you did?" said Mac. "No, I didn't think so."
"Well Little Miss Mackenzie feeling big today, are we? Well we'll just see how you are when Billy does come back to me and leaves you out in the snow. But see you guys aren't together so you really don't have to worry about it. He will be much better off with me. I could make him more happier than you ever could. At least that's the way he seemed the last night of the web shoot, remember?" said Brittany. "Oh you wouldn't know, I remember now you weren't feeling well and was tired so you left. Poor thing!"
"You know what Brittany? I hope Billy takes you back long enough to be able to see how much of a coniving little twit you are then leaves you out in the snow to freeze to death!" said Mac through gritted teeth.
"You little s***!" said Brittany glaring at her then turning around and walking out. Before Brittany got too far, Mac grabbed a big hand full of hair and pulled it out leaving a bald spot in the back of her head. "Ouch! Mac what are you thinking? You are going to pay for this!" Brittany said running out of there before anyone saw her head. Cody just started laughing.
"Mac, I think you better leave now before you lash out on anyone else, like me and before the storm gets too bad."
"Ok, I guess you're right." said Mac, taking off her apron and punching out. "Bye Cody, be careful getting home."
"Bye Mac and you be careful too."
Mac went outside and got into her car. She turned out and drove a few miles then all of a sudden she saw a big truck coming down the road and it was on her side of the road. Mac had to swerve over to the right before she hit the semi. When she swerved, she drove down into a ditch. She tried to get out and she couldn't she was stuck, all of a sudden her car turned off and she couldn't start it up again. She reached into her bag to get her cell phone then realized she left it on the charger at home. Now she was stuck in the middle of no where, freezing with no phone. She wondered how long she was going to have to sit there. Two hours later she was still there thinking of a way to keep warm before someone got to her rescue. To sleep she thought was the best thing for her. Fast enough she was asleep in her car on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
Billy sat up in his room working on a book report that he had to do for English. He couldn't concentrate on it, all he could think of was Mac. Mac was the only thing he could ever think of. He really missed her and wanted her back so badly. 'Man, I really screwed this up. Then my mother, thank G** she is outta town for six months on business. I need some coffee.' Billy thought as he got up heading out his door to go to Crimson Lights to get some, hoping that Mac would be working. He knew that she got a new car and he thought that it was really nice. Maybe just maybe one day she could take him for a ride in it. Billy went outside and got into his Ford Explorer 4X drive and headed for the coffee house. He was driving down the two lane highway and saw this car on the side of the road. 'It was a blizzard out here! Why would anyone be out? Listen to me, I'm out in this craziness and it is freezing. Maybe I should stop to see if they're ok.' Billy thought as he got closer to the car. As he came up on it he realized what kind of car it was. It was a mustang, just like Macs. 'Wait a minute,' he thought looking at the license plate BEAUTFUL. 'It was Mac!' The name beautiful just stuck in his head. That's what he always called her. Why was it on her license plate if she had hated him the way she said she did. He pulled off and slammed the car in park. He ran out and ran to the car. He looked inside the window, it was Mac and she looked like she was froze to death. Her eyes were closed.
"Mac, Mac? Can you hear me? Mac?" Billy screamed. "Mackenzie, can you hear me? Now is not the time to be stubborn, answer me d******!" Mac was not answering him and he didn't know how long she had been out there. The only thing he could do was either A: open the door, he tried that and it was locked. Or B: bust out the window. He had no choice but to bust out the window. It wouldn't break. Man what was he going to do. Mac looked like her lips were blue and the rest of her body was getting that way, from what he could see. He went around the other side of the car and that door was unlocked! 'Thank goodness,' Billy thought getting into the car. He got in and it was freezing in there. He tried waking Mac but it was no use. He checked her pulse. He couldn't feel one. He tried again, yes there it was. Mac started waking. "Mac can you hear me?" Billy said scared. Mac opened her eyes to the cold air. She couldn't move she was frozen, the most she could do was turn her head a little. She looked over and saw someone, but couldn't make out the face.
"Billy.......is that you?" Mac said just above a whisper and barely able to move her lips.
"Yeah Mac, it's me!" said Billy realizing how cold she was taking off his coat to give it to her. "It's me."
"What are you doing here and......" Mac said as she looked around and realized she was still in her car. 'In my car?'
"I was on my way some where and I saw a car on the side of the road in a ditch and decided to get out and help and my luck it was you." Billy said wondering what Mac's next words were going to be.
"Well thanks, but no thanks." Mac said. "I don't need your help."
"You don't? Can you even move Mac?" Billy said looking at Mac like she was crazy.
"Yes I can move, so I would appreciate it if you would just leave me alone." said Mac.
"You can? Well let me see you move your arm and your leg." Billy said, watching Mac try to move.
"I can't. I'm too tired and I'm going to go home and go to sleep." Mac said as she then passed out because of how cold she was.
"Mac? Mac? Wake up!" Billy said. "Darn Mac, looks like you're going have to come with me. I'm taking you to the hospital, you could be frost bitten." Billy reached out and hit the automatic lock button to unlock the driver door. Then he went around and opened her door and reached in and picked her up out of the car. He carried her over to his Explorer and put her in and then got in to drive her to the hospital.
When he got to the hospital and told all of them what happened the doctor told him that he should call Mac's family and let them know what happened. So he did.
"Hello?" Kay said as she woke up from her sleep.
"Mrs. Chancellor, this is Billy. I have some news to tell you and Mr. Reynolds about Mac."
"Mac? What are you calling about Mac for? She is asleep and that's where she is going to stay. Goodnight Billy." said Kay.
"Wait Mrs. Chancellor! Mac is not asleep, she's in the hospital! She was on the side of the road and I found her nearly frozen to death!"
"Oh dear G**! Is she ok? I'll be right over there!" Kay said hanging up the phone.
"Geez, that woman hates me more than I think Mac does if that is possible!" said Billy hanging up the phone. He just looked in at Mac as she layed there on the bed. He asked if he could go in. They told him they thought that it would be alright until her family got there. He walked in and immediately Mac woke up.
"Billy....I thought I told you to leave me alone?" Mac said, looking around noticing she was out of her car and now in the....hospital.
"I know, but Mac I can't stand being away from you. I know that I hurt you really bad last summer and I am so sorry. I didn't know what happened. I wish you would believe me when I tell you that I would never ever do anything to hurt you. Mac I..... I.... I love you and I don't want you to think that I'm saying that to get back on your good side. Mac I have loved you since I can remember. When I first got here and you gave me that little attitude I thought it was so cute and to think of a girl giving me the cold shoulder. Then I got to know you and realized the kind of person you were and from then on I knew that you were the person that I wanted to be with. Not Brittany. If I ever would of thought that what happened the last night of the web thing would of happened, I would had never even been in the same room as that thing in the first place. I wanted you to be my first and I actually wanted to remember it. When I say that I love you Mac, I mean that I love you!"
"Billy, I don't know what to say. I mean I know that I have loved you since I can remember and I thought that you loved me too. Then I saw you and Brittany and I thought that it was just an act to see who you could get with first. I wanted you to be my first too, Billy. I wanted you and me to be able to go public and gosh Billy you caught me by surprise." said Mac, beginning to cry. "I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love you too and I know that deep in my heart I know that I always will." Billy walked over towards Mac and reached down and kissed her. Just like the two of them have been waiting for it forever. Kay and Brock rush in the room.
"Mackenzie darling," said Kay as she saw Mac and Billy. "I'm sorry honey, I didn't realize you two were back together."
"Oh hi grandma, hi dad. Billy and I just got back together. We realized that we were meant to be together and that it was foolish for us to hide and fight our feelings." said Mac, looking at Billy and reaching for his hand.
"Oh that's wonderful," said Kay as she walked over to hug Mac. "How are you feeling? Are you ok?"
"Never been better!" Mac said smiling at Billy.
It was Monday morning and Mac and Billy were at her locker. JT was walking down the hall and spotted them. 'Why is Abbott talking to Mac? I thought she hated him? Well I guess I should go and find out."
"Oh man look who is headed our way." said Mac looking at JT walking towards them.
"Hey guys," said JT. "So I guess you found out the truth?"
"Truth?" Billy said wondering what JT was talking about.
"Yeah man the truth, you know about you and Britt?" he said looking at Billy as if he was dumb.
"Oh yeah the truth, yeah I know about it." he said playing it off like he knew exactly what JT was talking about.
"So are you mad that you didn't get to sleep with her? I mean why wouldn't you be? Look at her she is mmmmmm mmmmmm good! I can't believe she set you up and made you think you two did the deed. Trust me man, you wouldn't be able to not remember it with her. Take if from a guy who knows." said JT thinking Billy knew.
"What?" said Billy yelling. "You're joking right? I didn't sleep with the slut? She just set me up? Why would she do that? And what do you mean take it from a guy who knows? You slept with her? While we were still going out?"
"Whoa man, I thought you knew." JT said.
"No, I didn't know that but thanks man. Really you don't know what it means to me and Mac!" Billy said with a big smile on his face.
"Yeah, no problem man. I'm glad I could help you out, later." said JT totally out of it thinking of what Brit will do and not even realizing what he was saying. 'Damn I'm screwed, he set me up making me think that he knew. Brit is gonna have it out for me. D****, now she isn't gonna want me. But she'll have me whether she likes it or not.'
"Later man, c'mon Mac we have someone we need to see." he said, taking Mac's hand walking down the hall towards the door. Just then the door opens and Brittany comes whipping through it and stops in her track looking at the sight of Mac and Billy together.
"Billy? What are you doing with that w****? You should be with someone like me that could make you happy and satisfied." said Britt, in disbelief of what she was seeing.
"Brittany, what did you do to your hair? It looks like....mine!" said Billy laughing.
"Well your little friend did this to me, and Mac you will pay for this!" said Brit glaring at Mac.
"You did this Mac? That is hilarious. How did you do it?" Billy said practically rolling on the floor.
"I just pulled out all of the hair on the back of her head. It was really easy and I would be glad to do it again. If you ever call me that name again Britt, I will!" said Mac, getting ready to pull some more out, just the very little she had left.
"You know Brittany, you could never satisfy me and make me happy. Mac is the only one that could ever make me as happy as I am now and she could definitely satisfy me!" he said looking at Mac while she was blushing.
"Well honey, that's not what you said the last night of the web shoot." said Brit grabbing onto Billy's arm.
"Ewwww get off of me! For your information I never slept with you, but I'm sure you already know that! Don't you Britt?" he said glaring at her.
"Yeah Billy, she knows that. She is a low life little twit that needs to lie to herself to get pleasure, oh and to get it from JT too but I don't know if you would consider that as pleasure. But you know Little Miss Britt that needs to be that desperate would go to him for that." said Mac glaring at Britt.
"You little B****!" Brit said taking a lunge at Mac. Mac moved before Britt hit her and her fist went through the glass window.
"Britt! OMG are you ok?" JT said screaming and running down the hall towards her, after he saw her lunge at Mac and go through the glass in the door.
"You little witch, you are going to pay for my hand and the humiliation I have to go through with my hair cut looking like your boyfriends!" said Brittany standing up with the help of JT.
"Brittany, is that a threat?" Mac said walking toward her. "I really don't think you want to threaten me, I mean look at you now. I could do much worse!"
"Oh Mac, you are all talk and not much action!" Brit said backing up as Mac was coming towards her. "C'mon JT, I don't have time for these losers. I need to go to the hospital. My bill will be in the mail Mac, you can count on it." With that twit and JT walked out the door and left.
"Man I wish the door would of came off the hinges and smashed her to smitherness!" said Mac looking at Billy.
"I know me too, that would of been some show. Are you ok? You look as if you are going to kill, kill her not me!" he said looking at Mac and seeing her anger build up at the thought of her.
"Billy, you know I would never ever hurt you. You mean too much to me. I love you with all of my heart and soul. Let's just go so I can show you how much you mean to me!" Mac said smiling at Billy who was grabbing her and practically dragging her out to her car. He wanted to know just how much he meant to her.
"Ok, let's go honey. We can go to the playhouse, but first I want to call and order some take out from Gina's and we can have dinner and talk and do whatever else you have in mind." Billy said to Mac, as he opened the door of her car for her then sat in the driver's seat.
Mac and Billy already stopped at Gina's and were walking into the door of the playhouse.
"Ok let's eat, I'm starved!" he said, reaching in the bag and grabbing his lasagna and giving Mac her chicken alfredo.
"Mmmmm, that was so good! But I'm still hungry." Mac said smiling.
"Hungry? For what?" Billy said looking at Mac's empty plate then at her.
"You!" Mac said jumping up and attacking Billy.
"Whoa Mac, I've never seen you like this before!" said Billy. "Are you ready for this Mac?"
"Yes, I don't think there is any chance in the world now of me not being ready."
That day they both lost their innocence to each other. It was a day that neither of them were going to ever forget!
After they had made love, Billy and Mac just layed in each other's arms with big grins on their faces.
"That was great, Mac. And all the more special because it was with the only person in this world that I could love this much. I love you Mac, more than anything in this world. I mean that."
"Billy I love you too. This is not like anything I've ever felt before. I mean when I thought I loved Raul, it was nothing to what I feel for you from the day I met you til right this very moment! You mean the world to me and you are my everything I've ever wanted and more." With that Billy reached over and kissed Mac passionately.
