This story has very little to do with Y & R The story is about a school trip that turns very interesting  for some of the people that go.

Chapter 1

Mackenzie Reynolds looks around her bedroom one more time to make sure she had all she needed for her trip to Hawaii. "Okay I have I sun block, I have sun glasses, shorts a camera, shirts, my toothbrush, suff to wear to bed, stuff to read on the plane and on the beach,. I think that's it, she pauses. Oh wait, the plane ticket, where's the plane ticket? Mac searches her desk for the plane ticket. she finally finds it by her purse. Ah, there it is, she puts the ticket in her purse with her identifcation. Now I am ready. " Mac grabs her suitcase and purse and starts to head out the door when the phone rings. She grabs it on the second ring.

"Hello?"
Raul's voice greeted her. "Hey."
"Oh hi Raul. Are you ready to go to Hawaii?" She asked with a chester cat grin on her face. This was the first time Mac had been allowed to go on a class trip. The only draw back was that her father was going too. She loved her dad, but ever since he caught wind of her having feelings for another guy, he had been waitching her very closely. Too closely for Mac's taste.
"Well, that's why I am calling, it turns out that I can't go after all."
"Why? Is everything ok?  Are you ok?
Raul smiles on the other end. "I am glad to know that you care about me. Yes, I am fine, but my grand father isn't. He had a stroke and the whole family is going to Arizona to be with him."
"Oh Raul, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope he gets better."
"So do I. he sighs. But at least you can go. You'll just have to take a lot of pictures og the sights and tell me about them when you get back."
"I'll do that, and Raul?"
"Yeah?"
"I'll be thinking about your grandfather and praying for his full recovery."
"Thank you Mac, bye."
"Bye." She hangs up the phone and a feeling of nausea comes over her. Soon she would face the hardest obstacle she had ever faced, ans she would be doing it alone. She really did feel bad for his grandad, but part of her was being selfish. Mac wanted Raul there, so she wouldn't have to face <Him> alone, especially since <she> was going to be on the plane too. Mac just hoped that she could get through the month without killing <her> and kissing <him>. She grabbed her things and headed out the door.
Billy Abbott was sitting at his father' desk looking at a picture.<she> didn't even know he had. Sighing he put the picture back in his wallet and back in his pocket. He knew he should have a picture of his girlfriend, Brittany in there, but he just couldn't bring himself to ask her for one. Truthfully, he really didn't want a picture of her in his wallet. The only one he wanted in there, was the one that was there. Billy stands up and looks at his suitcase and smiles. A whole month in Hawaii, he almost fell over when his parents told him they were letting him go on the class trip. He had been grounded for months and had brought up the topic casually, but both his parents had gone for it with one catch, his brother Jack was going with him. Billy's smile grows to a grin at the thought of Jack keeping him out of trouble. Jack had had invented trouble and had his  middle name  changed to it. Jack was the coolest member of the Abbott clan in Billy's eyes, he always seemed to get what he wanted one way or the other. Billy was checking his suitcase to make sue he had everything when the phone rang he picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Hi Billy."
"Brittany, are you ready for some surf and sun?" Billy said thoes words with a feeling of dread.
"Well actually, I was calling to tell you I can't go to Hawaii.
Billy nearly dropped the phone as the words came out of her mouth. "What do you mean you can't go?
"Calm down Billy. My father and mother are going to Paris and they asked if I wanted to go. I said of course, I mean Hawaii or shopping in Paris, I don't think so."
Billy's face turns white as a sheet. "Paris?"
Brittany giggles understanding why he's upset. "Yeah, are you going to miss me? I'll call you as soon as I get back and tell you how it went."
"Great."
"Uh ...Billy, my dad is calling I have to go. Have fun in Hawaii if you can without me. Ta-ta."
"Bye"  Billy hangs up the phone and feels like he's going to cry. A whole month of watching <him> and <her> together. Watching <him> rub sun block on <her> shoulders and back, Billy feels like he's going to be sick. How am I going to handle seeing <them> all month long?
Jack called out "Hey Billy? Are you ready?"
Billy sighs. "I guess as ready as I'll ever be." He grabs his stuff and heads out the door with his brother to the airport.

Chapter 2

Mac stands in the long line of students and parents waiting to get checked in at the airport, her best friend Cassidy is next to her smiling. Mac smiles at her friend.

"Are you excited, Cass?"
"Are you kidding? Do you even realize the hot sufer guys that are going to be within touching distance?"
Mac starts laguhing leave it to Cass to think only of the guys she'll meet. "Hey did you forget I have enough boy problems. The last thing I need to do is add to them."
Cass shrugs with a grin. "All the more for me then." She leans closer to Mac. "I can handle that." "I just bet you can." Mac says with a laugh. "Hey you two, what are you talking about?" Brock Reynolds saying a smile.
Mac and Cass look at each other, and then innocently look at Brock and say together. "Nothing."
"Uh-huh." Brock nods with a knowing smile. He looks around the airport and shakes his head when he spots Billy. He knew of Mac's feelings for that boy and he knows how much it's going to hurt her when she sees Billy and Brittany together.
Mac followed her father's eyes and her heart sank little. Billy. She thinks to herself. He was dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a white T-shirt. He had a pair of sunglasses on. The ultimate cool guy. She thinks with a smile. Mac tries to take her eyes off of him with little success. Cass taps her on the shoulder and she finally looks away from Billy.
"Huh? What Cass?"
Cass smiles a little sadly. She knew the whole story of how Billy had kissed Mac and then told her that they should just sta friends. "We're moving." Mac looks at her strangely. "The line it's moving."
"Oh." Mac grabs her bags and moves the few inches the line had gone. Her eyes slid back to where Billy had been standing, but he wasn't there anymore. Her heart sank further into her stomach. "He probably found Brittany," she mumbled silently to herself. Cass wrapped her arm around Mac.
"Hey, cheer up Mac. We have an entire month in Hawaii a head of us. Which means anything can happen." Mac smirks, "I hope you're right."
Cass feigns insult, "Have I ever been wrong?" Mac opens her mouth to respond. "Oh, hush up." Mac starts laughing in spite of herself.
Billy stand in the line waiting for some movement when he hears her softly laughter coming from somewhere ahead of him. He leans his body to the left to look for her. When he spots her, his heart begins to beat a little faster than normal. Her shiny brown hair was down straight and hung past her shoulder. She was wearing a red tank top with a black design on it he couldn't see and a pair of light blue jeans. She had a white shirt tied around her waist. He watched her as she talked with Cassidy, smiling and laughing at something her friend had said. She pushed a piece of hair behind her ear and he longed to do the same. He looked around her for any sign of Raul, he smiled a little to himself when he didn't see him.
Jack looked in the direction Billy was and grinned when he saw his brother's distracion. He put a hand on Billy's shoulder and said, "She looks nice doesn't she?"
Absently, Billy replies, "Yeah, she does."
Jack grins bigger. "I guess you're glad now that Brittany didn't come. It doesn't look like Raul did." Billy looks over at his older brother reluctantly. "Looks like, those are the key words. He could be late."
"Well, there's one way to find out." Jack walks away from Billy and toward Mac. "Hello, Mackenzie. hello Brock."
Mac smiles, "Hi, Mr. Abbott."
Jack smiles. "Please call me Jack, Mr. Abbott is my father."
Mac laughs, "Okay, hello Jack. Are you going on the trip to Hawaii?"
"Yes. I am," Jack replies. "Actually I came over here to ask you a question."
"Sure, ask me whatever you want."
"Well, I noticed Raul isn't here, is he okay?"
Mac's smiles falters a little as she answers his question. "Raul's grandfather had a stroke so he went with his parents to visit him in Arizona."
Jack's smile faded completely. "That's awful. I'll pray for him. Um...I'm going to go tell Billy. I'll see you my dear in Hawaii."
"Yes, you will. Goodbye Jack."
"Goodbye, Brock, Mac." With that he walked back to where Billy was standing and sighed. Well looks in this case we are right on the money."
Billy looks at his brother in confusion, "Huh?"
"Raul's not coming. His grandfather had a stroke, so he went with his parents to visit him."
Billy looks down at the ground feeling a mixture of emotions. "I don't know how I'm supposed to take that Jack."
"I know, Billy."
Mac look over at the two brothers wishing could hear what they were saying. She noticed Brittany wasn't hanging on Billy like an old suit. She looked around the line to see if Brittany may have gotten there early, but she was nowhere in sight.
"Hey Cass, have you seen Brittany?"
"No and I'm counting my blessing that my eyes haven't been hurt be seeing her yet."
"I don't think she's here."
"Cool, maybe she fell into her closet and got lost."
Mac smirks at her friend, "Cass...that's not very nice."
"Well, did I ever say I was nice?" Mac starts laughing.
"No, I guess you never did Cass." Mac stops laughing and becomes serious. "But what about Billy? What if she comes later? I don't think I could take it if I have to see them hug and kiss for an entire month."
"Mac, it's already 12:30 and our plane leaves at 1:25 if she's not here now, she probably isn't coming."
Mac sighs hoping her friend was right about that fact.

Chapter 3

Mac moved through the tiny aisle to her seat. She was hoping to get seated next to Cassidy, but soon found out her friend was sitting with Chris, the captain of the varsity basketball team. Mac smiles and shakes her head, thinking that boy doesn't know the trouble he just stepped in to. She finally found the set of seats where she would be spending the next five hours. The school was lucky to get a round trip flight to the islands. She moved into her window seat grateful to get that one. She turned her head to look out the tiny window.

Billy looked down at her sitting in the seat and sighed to himself. His seat was right next to hers, for the next five hours they would be only an inch or two apart. He cleared his throat. "Ahem, Mac?" Mac's head popped up at his voice. "Billy?" She moved closer to the windwo to resist pulling him down into the seat next to her. "What are you doing here? I mean, where's your seat?"  He pointed to the one she wanted him in. "Right here."
Mac tried to swallow, but here throat suddenly became to dry. "Oh. Her voice was rough so she tried again this time forcing the words out. Well then sit."
Billy notices her uneasy smile that rests on her lips in an attempt to be civil. "Look I can try to trade with someone else if your that uneasy."
"No! She said quickly, maybe to quickly because Billy started to grinning at her.  I mean its almost take off, and your all ready here and its your seat, please sit."
Billy grins a little more as she tries to justify her reaction  she had to his offering to leave.
"Ok I'll stay." He takes his time getting arranged in the small chair. Every once and awhile brushing against her.  A man in a business suit sit down next in the aisle seat. As he gets settled he pushes Billy into Mac.   Billy mumbles in Mac's ear "Sorry."
She whispers back "Its all right." She starts to thinking to herself I wouldn't mind if you were doing it on purpose.
"So, Billy asks nervously are you excited about going to Hawaii?"
Mac starts grinning "Yes, I've always wanted to go to the Hawaiian islands. She starts bushing. I've always dreamed of sitting on the beaches watchin the sunset. She loooks at him and then starts lauging anxiously I know its corny but..."
Billy interrupted her. "I don't think so. He reaches up to remove a piece of hair from her eyes,I hope you get to do that every night. He removes his hand reluctantly,  so where's Cassidy?"
Mac starts laughing. "She's sitting with Chris, I have a feeling he's going to be under her spell by the end of the plane ride. That or he's going to to try to jump the plane."
Billy laughs. "knowing Cass, probably both. "
Mac tries to control her giggles. "Hey that's my friend your talking about."
Billy getting very serious. "I am sorry Raul couldn't come."
Mac stops laughing completely. "Yeah, that's really aweful. I mean what to happen to his grandad. "
"Yeah it is, I hope he gets better soon. Mac nods and looks back out the window. Billy immediately regrets bring up Raul. "Look Mac...."
The announcer comes on and interrupts what he was going to say. "Hello passengers, we are about to take off, so please fasten your seatbeats. Relax and enjoy the flight. This flight will be making a round trip to Hawaii and back. Thank you and remember enjoy the flight."
Mac fastened her seatbelt and thought, 'Enjoy the flight. Yeah right.'
Billy pulled the belt as tight as it would go around himself and smirked. He thought about what the flight attendant said, 'Enjoy your flight. Yeah right.'
About two hours into the flight a stewardess comes by their aisle. "May I interest you in some soda or a bag of peanuts?"
"I'll have both please." Mac replied.
"So will I." Billy said. The woman hands them the items then moved to the next aisle.
Mac smiled at Billy and finally asked the question she had been dying to ask, "Is Brittany here?"
Billy looked over at her and gave her a smile. "No, she's in Paris."
Mac tried desperately to not smile, she failed miserably as a grin slides acrossed her lips. "Oh, that's too bad."
Billy grinned back at her. "Yeah it is." They stare at each other for a little while until Cassidy comes up to Mac.
"Mac...." sees she interrupted, Cass tried to go back to her seat without much hassle. It didn't work. The spell had been broken around them and Mac turned to her friend. "What is it Cass?"
"Um..." Thinking to herself, 'Good going idiot' "I just wanted to ask you a question about basketball, but it can wait. I'll just go back to my seat now." Cass hurries to her seat and sighs.
"What's wrong, Cass?" Chris asks.
"I think I just ruined a moment between Mac and Billy."
"A moment, huh?"
"Yeah, a really intense moment. A kissing moment."
"Well, we'll just have to set up more kissing moments."
Cass grins at Chris, "I like the way you think."
"I'm glad. Now here's what I have in mind..." For the rest of the flight Chris and Cass plotted as Billy and Mac steal glances at each other.

Chapter 4

Cassidy and Chris stood over by the baggage claim plotting a way for Billy and Mac to be alone. They look over as Mac gets up and walks over to claim her suitcase.

Cass grabs Chris's arm. "Are you sure we can pull this off?"
"Don't you trust me?"
"I didn't say anything about trust, I asked if we could pull this off."
Chris sighs loudly, "You are the most annoying person..."
Cass smiles sarcastically, "Aww, Chris you say the sweetest things."
He grins at her, "I know." He looks over at Mac, who is still trying to find her luggage. "We can pull this off, easily. From everything you told me about your friends, it sounds like they're dying to be together."
Cass nods, "They are. It's just they're too gosh darn stubborn."
"Well then we'll just have to push a little." Chris sees a friend of his coming their way and calls out to her, "Jenn."
Jenn stops and smiles, "Crazy man Chris. How was the flight for you?"
"Interesting." He looks between two girls. "Jenn this is Cassidy, Cass this is Jenn." The two teens shake hands. "Jenn, you know Mac right?"
"Yeah, I know her. She and I had biology together."
"Good, do you know Billy?" Chris asked.
"Abbott, sure who doesn't." Jenn replied. "Why? What's with all the questions?"
Chris smiles, "Well Cass and I need your help. You see these two are desperate to get together, but they're...."
Cass interrupts, "Too stubborn!"
"Right." Chris laughs.
Jenn crosses her arms and smiles bigger, "So you two are going to force them together?"
"I think 'force' is too harsh of a word. I think a better word would nudge in the right direction." Cass replies with a grin.
"So, Jenn will you help us?" Chris inquired of his friend.
"Well, I do like mischief...sure where do I sign up?"
"Right here," Chris grins. "Here's the plan..."
Mac looked at the suitcases going past her with growing despair, she couldn't find hers anywhere. Her dad comes up behind her.
"No luck, yet?" Brock asked his daughter.
Mac shakes her head, "No. What if it got lost, dad? I mean that does happen."
"True, it does. But don't lose hope yet." He looks on the conveyer belt and spots her suitcase. "In fact here it is now."
Mac turns her head and smiles. "Thank goodness. I really want to change in a pair of shorts. It's really hot here." Cass comes up behind her.
"Yeah, and we are just in the airport, just wait until we get outside where the guys are. That should raise the temperature some more."
Brock starts chuckling, "Cassidy, will you ever stop being boy crazy?"
"I hope not Mr. Reynolds. It keeps me out of trouble." Cass and Mac laughs.
"Yeah, dad. You should see her when she doewsn't have guys on the brain. That's really scary."
"Hey, Mackenzie. If your not nice I won't room with you."
Mac controls her laugh, "Okay I'm sorry. Please room with me."
"Um..." Cass pretends to think. "Well okay but only since you apologized."
Brock, Mac and Cass walk out of the airport and into the van taking them to the hotel as Billy walks up to the baggage claim area with Jack.
"....So we just sat there for the rest of the flight." Billy sighs.
"Were you going to kiss her?" Jack asked.
"I don't know. Maybe. It doesn't matter the moment was lost the minute Cass walked up." Billy and Jack get their bags immediately. "We better get going. It looks like everyone is getting into the vans."
"All right." Jack replied. Together they walk to the first van.
A student, "I'm sorry the first two vans are filled. You'll have to go to the third."
"Okay." Billy smiled.
Mac sat in the van next to Cass there was only two seats left on this one. She looked over at her friend, who was telling her a story about Chris, when she felt a person sit next to her. She looked over to see who it was and sighed a little at the person.
"Well, we just seem to keep getting put next to each other." Billy laughed.
"Yeah, I guess we do." Mac smiled.
Cass looked at the two of them and grinned. She thought to herself, 'Oh this is going to be fun.' Cass put on her earphones and closed her eyes, thinking of the perfect place to get Billy and Mac together in. Chris looked at Billy and Mac looking at each other and had to agree with Cass, they were desperate to get together. He smiled at Jenn and leaned over to whisper to her. "This is going to be one month either of them will forget."
Jenn smiled, "You can say that again." She looks briefly at the two, who in turn were trying not to look at each other and laughed. "My goodness, look at them. You and Cass were right. I can't wait to start putting our plan into action."
Chris smiled larger, "Neither can I."
Jenn and Chris turned back around to face the driver as the van started to move. Billy looked at Mac who was looking at the floor and grinned in spite of himself. A whole month alone with Mac, no Raul and no Brittany in a beautiful place like Hawaii, this could get interesting.
Mac looked at the floor trying to calm her heartbeat. 'This is the second time, Mac,' she thought. 'The second time we've been this close. A whole month of sunsets with Billy, this could be perfect.'

Chapter 5

Billy checked into the front desk and received his key. He looked at it and smirked room  99 His favorite number was 9 and he hoped it meant good luck. Maybe for him and Mackenzie. Jack looked at his brother and smiled.

"So Billy what room did you get?"
"Room 99 how about you?"
"Room 98 right across the hall from you. Jack grins. So you can't get into too much trouble."
Billy laughs. "Like your going to be a major obstacle."
Jack smiles. "Maybe little brother, maybe. Billy looks over at the elevator just in time to see Mac, Cass,Chris, and Jen get on. Jack follows his eyes and laughs. My goodness Billy, you couldn't be anymore  obvious."
Billy blushes a little and grins. "Yes I could grab her in a lip lock right here in the lobby."
"Now that might not be a bad idea."
Billy looks at his brother in shock. "Your kidding right?"
Jack follows a beautiful blond with his eyes, "No I am not. This is a romantic place Billy boy don't waste it."
Billy grabs his bag and walks with his brother to the elevator thinging about what Jack had just said.  "You know Jack, you may have the right idea. I mean when will I ever get this chance again."
Jack pushes the the ninth floor button in the elevator, "That's the spirit Billy. That's the spirit." The doors close on Billy and Jack's grins.
Mac stood in front of her door. Room 97. She heard it had a door that lead to room 99, which was were Chris was staying. Mac smiles as she remembers  the look on Cass's face when she realized they were right next to each other. She inserts the  small key into the keyhole.
"Come on, Cass grinned. I want to change into my bikini. Chris and I are going to scope out the area for...well interesting stuff on the island."
Mac gets the door opened, "Here your highness. Its open now." They walk into the room as Billy and Jack exit the elevator. Billy heads up the hallway to his room.
"Well here it is room  99."
"And here's mine, I am going to get changed and head down to the pool,"
"Ok, I'll  see you down there." Billy unlocks the door and sees Chris sitting on the couch. Wow, this room is awesome hi Chris."
"Hi roomie. Chris gets up and shakes Billy's hand with a slight smile. I know this room is totally amazing."
Cass opens the door between the two rooms. "Hey Chris, are you and your roommate decent? She stops short when she sees Billy. Billy? Your Chris's  roommate?"
Billy stammers, "Ah....yeah...um..who are you rooming with?"
"Hey Cass, I think I am going to go with you and... Mac lets the sentence trail off when she sees Billy standing in the room with Chris and Cass.
Billy nearly fell when he saw her. Her hair was pulled into a tight ponytail on top of her head. She has on a orange bikini and short blue jean cutoffs . Mac was carrying a towl in one hand and and sunglasses and sunscreen in the other.  His heart started beating faster as Mac entered the room. "Are you staying in this room? Mac asked then thought  Always good to state the obvious Mac.
Chris clears his throat and grabs Cass, "We have to go get Jenn, her room is right next door in room 101. So will go get her then come back and get you Mac." They walked to the front door and waited for Mac to reply.
Mac pulls her eyes away from Billy unwillingly. "Okay, I'll just be in my room. With that she turns around and walks into her and Cass's room.  Shutting the door, Mac leans against it, whispering quietly  Is fate trying to tell me something?"
Billy walked over to the door that Mac had just closed and leaned his head against it. "Mac is right next door,. and will be right next door for the whole time we'll be in Hawaii. Great, just great." He pushed  himself away from the door and headed for his bedroom.
Cass smiled at Chris, Jen, and her roommate Ilanna, who wanted in on the action. "We couldn't have planned it better."
"The school must not have realized that put a set of girs and a set of guys in adjoining rooms. Jen said with a laugh. It'll  made our job a whole lot eaiser."
"They don't have a clue as to what you all are  planning?" Ilanna asked
"Nope, they don't have a clue, Chris said with a grin. Well they don't yet, having Billy as my roommate is the perfect solution to the problem of when I was going to work on him. You know, feeding him suggestions about Mac.
"Oh great. What are you going to do Chris? Put him in a trance? " Jenn asked.
"Who knows, I just might." Chris replied.
Cass looks at her watch. "You guys, we need to get back to Mac before she realizes anything is up."
"Ok so we all know our mission?"
Yes, Chris, we all know the mission."
"Well then, let's put operation B and M into action."
Cass and Ilanna smile and say, "Let the fun begin."
Jack sits by the pool and orders an ice tea, "And can you put a slice of lemon in that? The waitress nods. Thank you. Jack see's Billy heading for the pool area and calls to him. Hey Billy over here."
"Jack, your not going to believe this." Billy says with desperation in his voice.
Jack sits up and puts on his sunglasses. "What's wrong?"
"Mac, she's in the next room and if that isn't temptation enough there's an adjoining door that opens into both rooms. I can see her anytime I want and know one would know."
Jack grins. "And this is bad because?"
"Because...it just is."
Billy, you can't find a good reason for why its not a  good idea to see Mackenzie. So while you're in paradise act on thoes feelings before they drive you in sane."
Billy nods and looks across the pool. Mac takes off her shorts to reveal the rest of the bathing suit and he saus to his brother, "I think I am all ready insane."
Jack chuckles, "Women will do that to you."

Chapter 6

Cass, Jenn, and Ilanna look around the room to make sure everything is in place for the first part of there plan. When they were satisfied with everything that was in place, they smiled.

"Now all we have to do is wait for Billy and Mac to come back from the pool." Cass said with a smirk.
"Yep, there's no turning back now, Jenn comments to her friends. Let's just hope everything goes as planned."
"How could it not?"Ilanna answered. The ice room is a small room. We get Mac in it and lock her in, and then we get Billy in there and lock him in. The room is so small they'll have to um...touch each other to move around.
"And that should do the trick." Mr. Reynolds will be with some of the adults on a bus ride sightseeing. So that eleminates one problem. Jack is not even an obstacle. I think he wants Billy and Mac together. So all our bases should be covered." Cass said.
"Yeah, we get the two in there and Chris locks the door. It's perfect, Jenn."
"And don't forget that one of the maid's said that door sticks sometimes, so..." Cass shrugs.
"We're completely free of blame." Jenn finishes smiling.
"Exactly." Cass grabbed the ice bucket and left the note by it. The three girls went out to find Chris. They walk into Chris's room as he's sitting up the room for Billy to find the note. "All right Chris, our side is ready, how are you coming along?"
Fixing the ice bucket so it's plain view along with the note, he responded, "I'm done. All we have to do is wait for the two to come back from the pool and then, bang, they won't know what happened." All four of them shared a grin while Mac layed by the pool.
A young man, with sandy blond hair and green eyes, walks over to Mac, "Hi."
Mac uses her right hand to shield her eyes from the sun and smiles at the handsome stranger, "Hi."
"My name is Kyle Smith." He extends his hand to Mac, who takes it.
"Mackenzie Reynolds, but people call me Mac."
Kyle sits down in the lounge chair next to Mac's.
"Well Mac, how do you like Hawaii?"
"I've only been here for two hours, but it seems really beautiful."
"Oh it is. If you want a tour guide I'd be happy to help."
"I might take you up on the offer, Kyle."
Mac and Kyle continue to talk while Billy watches the entire exchange with jealously. 'Why is he looking at her so intensely? Why is she smiling at him? Why does she have to be so hot in that orange bikini?' Those questions and more run through his mind, until he sees Mac get up and dive into the pool leaving the blond sitting there looking after her.
Jack watches as Billy stares intently at Mac, swimming in the water. "Why don't you join her in the pool?" Billy glances over at Jack and grinned, "That's not a bad idea." Billy grabs the ends of his t-shirt and kicks off his sandals then dives in the water with Mac. She smiles at him when he comes up for air and splashes his face with the water. "Hey."
"Sorry, I had to do it."
"Well, then you'll understand when I do this." He dips down in the pool and grabs her legs pulling her under. Then he let's her go and they both come up to the surface.
Mac, pushing her wet hair from her eyes, says, "Oh you want to be like that, huh?" She jumps up and pushes his head under the water and swims away as fast as she could. He caught up to her easily and grinned.
"Now it's war." They water fight for the next hour.
Finally, Mac yells, "Uncle or should I say prune, because that's what I'm sure I look like." She smiles at Billy.
"Nah, you haven't reach prune status yet."
"Oh, thanks." Mac says sarcastically.
Jack laughs as Mac pushes water in Billy's face one more time before getting out of the pool. Jack thinks, 'You better watch yourself with this one, Billy boy. She's your perfect match.'
Mac walked over to the lounge chair she had been using and grabs her towel. Billy watches her every move as she dries off and puts her shorts back on. He gazes at her as she slips into her flip-flops and heads back into the hotel. He suddenly felt very overheated and ducked completely under the water to cool off. Billy climbs out of the pool and Jack laughs at him.
"I do believe, my dear, Abbott, that she has you completely wrapped around her little pinky finger."
"Very funny Jack." Billy says as he wracks his older brother with his towel. "I'm going up to my room, I'll see you later."
"All right, Billy, I'll see you later."
Billy goes into the hotel and pushes the up button on the elevator. He waits as the machine comes down to the lobby. When the bell finally rings indicating the arrival of the elevator, Billy steps closer to the sliding door and steps inside. He pushes the nine and leans against the wall. Whispering to himself, 'Come on, Abbott. You're already turning into mush and you haven't even finished the first day. How in the world am I going to make it through the whole month.'
Mac opens the door to her room and sees the ice buckets and a note. She reads the letter out loud,     "Mac, can you please go get some ice for the room. Chris, Jenn, Ilanna and I are going to one of the cliffs that over look the ocean. It should be incredible. Thanks, Cass." Mac sighs and grabs the bucket. She looks at the different doors as she passes by looking for the room with the ice machine, finding it she pushes the door open and clicks on the light. She  closes the door until only a crack remains. As she gets the ice she hears the door close completely, she runs over to it and pulls on the knob, it won't budge. Sighing Mac leans against it and hopes someone will come and let her out. Chris grins, 'One down, one to go.'
Billy sees the letter address to him the minute he entered the room. He read it quickly and grabbed the bucket and headed toward the ice machine. He finds it immedicately and opens the door. He is floored when he sees Mac sitting on the floor. "What are you doing here?" he asks as he shuts the door.
"Don't shut..." she hears the door close and finishes her sentence softly. "...shut the door."
"Why?"
"Because now we can't get out. The door sticks." She laughs a little. "As I found out." She stands and tries to walk around the small room without brushing her whole body against him. While trying, Mac trips over her foot and Billy wraps an arm around her to keep her from falling, Mac looks into his eyes as he does the same. Their lips inch near each other, they're only a breath away from kissing.
Chris, Cass, Ilanna and Jenn all have their ears against the door smiling as they hear Billy and Mac stop talking. One of their teacher's come up behind them. "What are you kids doing?"
They all stammer, "Nothing."
"Well then get away from the door," the teacher said and opened the door to the ice room just as Billy was about to close the distance between him and Mac.
"What's going on in here?"

Chapter 7

"Well, answer me, what's going on in here?" The teacher asked Billy and Mac who had gone into the completely red with embarrassment.
"Um...well...we...I mean, I came in here to get ice and the door closed on me, and when I tried to open it it wouldn't budge." Mac stammered through her explaination.
"What about you young man?"
"I came in here to get ice also, Billy holds up the bucket to prove he's telling the truth. And the door closed and stuck on me also."
"So you got stuck in here?"
"Yes sir." They said in unison.
"Then why were you young man, holding her? If you only came in here for ice." The teacher crossed his arms.
"She tripped and I had my arms around her so she wouldn't fall. Billy paused and then continued. As you can see sir, there's not a lot of room in here and she would have probably pulled me down with her if she would have fallen to the floor."
The teacher nods. "Okay, just don't let me find you kids in here anymore, do you understand?"
"Yes sir." Mac and Billy mumbled as they got there ice and left.
Cass, Chris, Jenn and Ilanna got in the elevator just as Billy and Mac walked back to there respective rooms.
"Well, we almost had them." Chris sighed.
"Had who?" A voice asked from behind them. They turned to see who it was and Ilanna grinned.
"Hey Nikki. What room are you in?"
"I am in 116 on the tenth floor. What are you talking about? Who did you almost have?"
"We're talking about Billy Abbott and Mackenzie Reynolds, do you know them?"
"Yeah, Mac and I have some of the same classes, and Billy, well let's just say I don't know one girl in Walnut Grove who doesn't know that boy. Nikki fans herself as she continues. He's a honey. Why?"
"We're trying to get the two of them together." Chris says.
"Oh cool, has it worked?"
"Almost sighs Ilanna, a teacher caught them right when they were going to kiss. We had to leave so we don't know if they got in trouble or not."
"Why did you have to leave?"
"Because the teacher caught us with our ears pressed against the door and we where supposed  to be climbing on some cliff watching the waves crash against or something." Cass replied. She looked at her co-conspirators.
"What are we going to do now?"
"Simple go to plan B. I am not a quitter, how do you think Walnut Grove made it all the way to the basketball state championships? We never quit!"
"Ok captin, what's plan B?" Jenn inquired.
"Hey can I help?" Nikki asked.
"Sure, the more the merrier."Ilanna said.
"Ok girls..come closer its time to plan...."
Mac entered the room and dropped the bucket on to the table and then walked to her bedroom. She fell across the bed, sighing deeply."So close Mac, she thought. He was going to kiss you.and you were going to let him . What am I thinking, of course I was going to let him kiss me, I would be an idot not too. Mac walked over to her suitcase and pulls out a pair of pajammas. 'Oh well Maybe a shower will help and a nap.' She yawns. 'Yes definitely a nap.' Mac enters the bathroom and grins, it was huge. There were jars of different bubble scents, shampoos, and conditioners. She grabs the one that smells like roses and turned on the shower letting the water get warm.
Billy sat on the couch with his head in his hands. 'You fool. You had her in your arms and you didn't take advantage of the situation.' He sits back against the cushions and laughs to himself. 'She was willing to kiss you, Abbott you know she was. You could have given her the kiss that you both wanted. Wanted, heck were dying for.' He walked over to her door and knocks. No answer, so Billy tries to turn the knob it turns easily in his hand. Pushing the door open, he enters hesitantly. "Mac," Billy calls out. "Mac, Are you here?" He moved further into the hotel room and listened. When he heard the bathroom door open, he turned to leave, but not soon enough.
"Did someone call me?" Mac came out of her room with a towel over her head and one wrapped around her body. "Cass? Is that you?" She pulls the one off her head and looked around the room for the source of the voice she heard. Her eyes landed on Billy and she wrapped the other towel around her shoulder, also checking to make sure the one around her body was securely fastened, her face turns bright red.
"What are you doing here?"
Billy looked Mac up and down. "What?" he said roughly.
"I asked what are you doing here?" Mac replied.
"I came over here to talk with you."
"Well can you leave, while I get dressed?"
"Huh? Oh sure, I'll be in my room, okay?" He stays where he is.
"Billy. Go into your room."
"Uh.....yeah. Okay...." Billy walked slowly into his room and sat on the couch again. "Oh, boy!"
Mac runs back into her room mortified. "Oh my goodness. I can't believe this happened." She grabs some clothes and starts to get dressed. She finishes and walks to the door, putting her hand on the knob and pulls the door open to face Billy.
Chris, Cass, Jenn, Ilanna, and Nikki walk through the lobby looking for Jack. They find him by the bar picking up a pretty red head.
"So, maybe you and I could explore the island together?" Jack asked the lady.
"I'd love to show you the waterfall caves."
The teens stop and look at each other, "Waterfall caves?" Chris mouths to the others.
"This is perfect." Cass whispers.
"But how can we get them there?" Ilanna asks.
"We'll just have to make up an excuse as to why they need to come with us." Jenn replied.
"I'm beginning to like being mischievous." Nikki grinned. They run back up the elevator to Jenn and Ilanna's room.
Mac stood in the doorway and looked at Billy, who had his hands against his face leaning back into the couch cushions. Mac thought about turning back around, but her mouth moved quicker than her legs and she asked, "So what did you want to talk to me about?"
Billy looked at her and smiled softly. Her hair was wet around her shoulders; she wore a pair of white jean-shorts and a little T-shirt that cut off at the top of her shorts, so whenever she moved a small strip of skin showed. "I wanted to talk with you about, what almost happened in the ice room."
Mac glances at the floor before bringing her eyes back to his. "What about it?"
"We almost kissed Mac. If that teacher hadn't walked in, we would have."
"I know, Billy I was there." She lifts her chin and looks him directly in the eye. "And I also know I would not have minded if it had happened."
Billy stepped closer to her until there was almost no room between them. "I want to kiss you right now."
Mac lifted her hand to his cheek and rubbed it lightly. "So, what's stopping you?"
He wraps his left arm around her waist and ran his right hand through her hair. "Nothing." With that he brings his lips to hers.

Chapter 8

Jenn opens the door to her room and the others follow in.

"Okay, what we need to find is a map, so we know where these caves are."
"I think I saw a map on the table over there." Ilanna pointed.
Cass goes over to the table and gets the map, "Here it is."
Chris smiles, "Well now all we need to do is find the right caves."
"There some caves about a half a mile down from the hotel." Nikki said pointing to the map.
"But, are those the right ones?" Jenn asked.
"There's only one way to find out." Chris replied.
"We'll have to go see for ourselves. But first I think we should do some damage control."
"Meaning?: Chris asked.
"Meaning you and I need to see if Billy and Mac have figured out we set them up."
"You think they'll figure it out." Cass twisted her hair nervously.
"I don't know for sure, but they might have." Chris heads over to the door and Cass follows.
"You three get ready for a hike to those caves, after we do damage control we'll meet you in the lobby."
"Okay, see you soon." Jenn said.
Ilanna and Nikki nodded and Illanna said, "Good luck."
"Thanks." Cass answered. "If they found out what we did we'll need all the luck we can get." Chris and Cass walked into the hallway and to her room. Billy tilted Mac's head a little to deepen the kiss and thought, 'This is een better than I remember. I can't believe it took me this long to kiss her again.' Mac slid her hand from his cheek into his hair holding him tightly to her while the other hand ran up and down his back. 'Does she even realize how wonderful that feels?' He smiles as he continues to kiss her. 'No, she probably doesn't.'
Mac's head was swimming with feelings and sensations. Nothing had ever felt this good to her. His lips were soft and so gently against hers. His hand around her waist tightened slightly bringing her closer to him. She could feel his heart beating furiously as against her chest and soon it started beating in unison with her own. His other hand continued it exploration of her face, neck, and shoulders, sometimes caressing her cheek, sometimes sliding down her neck and sometimes massaging her muscles. The movements were so relaxing that Mac's legs started to feel like jell-o. But at the same time the caresses were exciting and new. Raul never touched her face when they kissed; he always kept his hands around her waist. Billy was much more free with her and that in turn made her feel free. She slid her hand that had been at his back all the way up to his shoulders, stopping to rub the strong muscles there and then continued upward until it met her other hand in his soft hair. Neither hear the door open behind them nor did they hear Cass and Chris talking.
"Chris, I hope you're wrong. If Mac realizes I set her and Billy..." Chris slaps a hand over her mouth and points to the doorway. Cass looks over to see Mac and Billy kissing slowly. Chris leans down and whispers in Cass's ear. "Step one is complete. Now it's onto step two." Chris grins and they walk silently out the door.
"Oh, my goodness, Chris, did you see them? They looked so good together. I can't believe they didn't even know we were there."
"Know you were where?" Brock asked them from behind them. Cass and Chris turned around and face Mac's father.
"Um...a couple...surfers that I saw on the beach." Cass waves a hand down her body and pouted.  "They didn't even notice me."
Brock starts laughing. "Cassidy...what am I going to do with you?"
"Well you can start by getting those surfer honeys to notice me." Cass replied and Chris let out a breath of relief.
"I'll try. Have you seen Mackenzie?"
"I saw her by the pool earlier." Chris answered.
"Thanks...um...."
"Chris."
"Thanks Chris and Cass, I'll work on those surfers for you."
"Thank you, Mr. Reynolds. That would be appreciated."
Cass and Chris waved good-bye to Brock as he got on the elevator to go down to the pool area.
"Whoa....that was close."
"What do you mean?" Chris asked.
"I mean, if Mr. Reynolds had seen what we saw, Billy wouldn't need a plane ticket back to Genoa City because Mr. Reynolds would drop kick him there."
"So, Mac's father doesn't approve of Billy?"
"Well I'm not sure if that's what it is or if he just approves more of Raul."
"Oh, I get it now." Chris looks at his watch. "We should go get the others and check out those caves."
"All right, let's go."
Billy and Mac pulled away slowly, savoring even the breaking of the kiss. "That was incredible." Billy smiled.
"I knew it would be." Mac said softly. "I just want to know one more thing."
"Sure, what is it?"
"Is this going to be the beginning of a relationship or is it the beginning of an affair?"
Billy sighs. "I don't know."
"Well, which one do you want it to be?"
"I really haven't thought that far ahead, Mac."
"What does that mean?"
"That means, I don't know what I want."
"Oh." Mac looks down at the floor and mumbles. "I understand."
Billy tries to reach out to her, "Mac..." She pulls away.
Looking Billy in the eyes again, "I'm going back to my room. When you <decide> what you want, you know where to find me." Mac turns on her heel and practically runs back into her room before shutting the door hard. She leans against it and lets the tears fall freely down her cheeks. 'Now what Mac, what are you going to do now?' She pushes herself off the door and stumbles to her room blinded by the tears that still rest in her eyes.
Billy picks up a couch cushion and tosses it across the room. 'Great move Billy,' He looks at his reflection in the mirror. 'Could you make her feel anymore unwanted?' Billy walks over to the door to his side. 'She needs time. Give her time, Billy. You owe her that.'

Chapter 9
Mac ran the brush through her hair violently, the sadness over the situation with Billy turning to anger at his inability to make decisions about their relationship. She slammed the brush down on the vanoty and started pacing her room. 'How could he kiss me like that and not know what he wants? Is he blind or just playing with me? Mac stops pacing. 'could that be it? Is Billy just playing me for a fool? She looks around the bedroom forthe phone, upon finding it, she picks up the receiver ready to dial his number and then stops. 'No, Billy is going to look into my eyes and tell me how he feels. Mac puts down the phone and walks over to the door between there  two rooms. She gazes at the only separation left perventing her from seeing him and takes two steps toward it. She lifts her hand to knock and then looses her nerve.'I can't do it now. Not when I am so angry. She thought. I'll take a walk to calm down and then I'll face him. With this reslove, Mac write a quick note to Cass and heads out of the room.
Billy sat in his room and stared at the adjoing door. 'I can't believe I was that  stupid. She must be really furious and I really can't blame her. I know what I want, why couldn't I just tell her? He got up from the chair he was sitting in and went to the door again, this time knocking. "Mac?  Mac please open the door. He turns the knob taking the necessary steps to enter her room. Mac, I know your probably angry, and you have every right to be, but I've decided. I mean I always knew what I wanted, I was just too scared to say it. I hope you understand...Billy stops when he realizes that he's getting no responce. He heads to her room and pushes the cracked door open completely. Mac? Looking around the main room and sees a small piece of paper. He reads the note quietly. Cass, if you come back and find me gone I went to take a walk. I need to clear my head. I'll be back soon and we can talk about all the gys you met and fallen in love with all ready. Love, Mac. He puts the note back where he found it and and then heads out the door. You and I are going to hash things out Mac."
Mac sits down on the sand with her shoes in her hand looking out over the ocean. The sun that was setting was beautiful, just like she always dreamed it would be. Mac dropped the shoes into the sand and wrapped her arms around herself and raised  up to her knees. 'Why am I so angry? Its not the first time he's done this. He gets me to this point where I'll do just about anything for him and then he shuts the door on me. When will I ever learn? She plays with the sand as she thinks, picking up a handful of white grains of sand and letting them seep through her fingers. He always has an excuse for pulling back from me and there always lame excuses. Well no more. This time if he wants me he's going to have to earn me. She smiles a little at the thought of Billy begging for her forgiveness.
Chris Jenn, Cass,Ilanna, and Nikki climbed out of the cave. "Well thoes are the right caves." Chris says as he helps the girls down from the rocks leading to the cave opening.
Cass nods. " They are beautiful and now ith Mac and Billy together, they are going to love the privacy it gives them."
"Are you sure there together?" Jenn asks as she stepped from the last rock.
"Yep we saw them with our own eyes." extending his hand to Ilanna next.
"But did you actually hear that they were together?" Nikki asked
"If you had all seen that kiss, you'd understand why we're sure about the soidity of their new relationship." replies  Cass.
"I hope your right, I like Mac and think Billy would be good for her. Ilanna said turning around to face Nikki and Chris who had just gotten down from the last rock.
"Well I think there good for each other." Cass responded and Chris nodded.
"I agree with Cass. They <both> need each other. Chris smiles and we are going to to make sure they realize that fact. But first, we need to ge them to these caves."
"Right Jenn said. All we have to do is come up with a way to do that. Come closer." The schemers huddled up to discuss the next part of there plan.
Kyle walks up the beach and sees mac sitting in the sand. He starts smiling at how beautiful she looked in the sunset, her hair blown away from her face, and a small smile on her lips her hands making small circles in the  white sand. He continues to walk toward her. "Hi Mac." Kyle calls out as he reaches her.
Mac holds a hand over her eyes to see who's calling her. "Oh hi, Kyle, right?"
"Yes, that's the name.He gestures to the ground. Can I sit?"
Mac looks at the ground for a second before responding then says, "Sure, have a seat."
"Thanks." He sits down and looks at her as she looks out at the sunset.
"Everything is so beautiful here." Mac says half to herself.
Kyle continues to look at her and smiles, "Yes, everything <is> beautiful."
Mac tiurns her head toward him and realizes he's talking about her and starts blushing. "I was talking about the sunset."
"I know you where and it is, but not half as beautiful as you are."
Mac blushes a deeper shade of red. "I don't think everyone would agree with you."
"Well then you've been hanging out with the wrong group of people, if they can't see how incredibly stunning you are."
Mac grins at him. "Thanks, I needed to hear that."
Billy walks out to the beach and notices her immediately. She was smiling at the guy from the pool this afternoon. He felt the jealousy burn inside of him as he watches the blond reach up and touch Mac's hair. He practically ran to where they were and glared down at the man next to Mac.
"Hey Mac." Billy said trying desperately to keep the evil out of his voice.
Mac's head pops up at the stange tone in Billy's voice. She starts to get up with Kyle's help. "Billy have you met Kyle yet?"
'No, we haven't had the pleasure." Billy answered sarcastically and thought if your not careful Abbot your going to loose it completely. This guy <Kyle> is more then willing to take her from you.
"Well then let me introduce everyone. Kyle Smith, this is my friend Billy Abbott. Billy this is Kyle." Mac said with a little smile.'What's up with Billy? Why is he glaring at Kyle?  The two men shook hands and sized each other up.  "Its nice to meet you Billy." Kyle smiled.
Billy pasted a smile on his face and said "Yes it is. I hope we meet again." Billy smiled for real when a thought came to mind. 'As I push you into a volcano.
Mac noticed the change in Billy and knew instinctively that it was a bad sign. "uh....Well I am feeling the effects of  being in the plane for so long  so I am going to head up to my room. Kyle, it was nice seeing you again. Maybe we'll ru into each other again while I am here."
"I hope so." Kyle grins at her as Billy feels the nausea build in his throat.
Mac turned away from the two guys and headed up to the hotel. Kyle started to turn and head home when Billy reached up and grabbed his shoulder. "Mac is mine." he said through clenched teeth.
Kyle laughed "Have you told her this?"
Billy looked at the ground and replied "No."
"Well then it seems to me it means she's no one's while she's here. I am going to make sure that she knows there are plenty of guys who would jump at the chance to be with her. Kyle pauses and looks at Mac's retreating form in the hotel enterance. And I am definately one of them. So Billy, get ready for a fight."
"I am ready Kyle. Because I have an advantage, she was willing to leave her boyfriend for me. A guy she had been in a relationship with for months. So you'll be easy to beat." After saying that Billy walks toward the hotel and Kyle headed home whistling the whole way.

Chapter 10

Mac rolled over in the hotel bed and pulled a pillow over her head to drowned out the knocking on the front door. She peeked at the clock by her and sighed.9:10 AM she slowly climbed out of bed knowing that Cass wouldn't hear the knocking. Mac walked through the main room to the door. "Who is it?"
"Room service." The bellhop replied. Mac pulled the door open and saw a lanky guy who couldn't be much older then herself and smiled. "I am sorry, I think you have the wrong room, I didn't order room service and I know my roommate didn't either so..."
"Your Mackenzie Reynolds right? Room 97?"
Mac nods a little taken aback. "Yeah, that me. How did you know....?"
"Well then I have the right room, can I come in and set up?"
She moves out of the way. " I guess, yeah."
The young bellhop enters the room with a moveable tray in front of him. Cass comes out of her room yawning. Cass opens her eyes and is shocked to see a huge breakfast being set up.  She walks over to Mac and says, "Did you order this?"
Mac shakes her head, "No, I don't know who ordered all this food. Mac moves to her purse and grabs a five dollar bill to tip the bellhop. Here, I hope this is enough."
The bellhop shakes his head and says, "I've all ready been tipped and I've been instructed to give you this. He pulls out a single red rose with a note attached to it. Have a good day ladies."
Cass walks the bellhop out and nods."You too."
Mac opens the note and smiles at the message, "Good morning I hope I didn't wake you I didn't know what you liked for breakfast so I ordered a bit of  everything.... Mac stops reading as she looks down at the table to find eggs, bacon, sauage, toast, muffins of all sorts, danishes of all sorts, yogurt, fruit, orange juice, milk, and hot tea. She shakes her head and continues to read the note..
I know your probably thinking I went over board but I hope you enjoy the breakfast anyway. I can't wait to see you enjoy the breakfast and the rose. Kyle."
Cass pours herself a cup of tea and sips it as she watches the emotions play across Mac's face while she reads the note. When Mac puts the note on the table and gets started on breakfast, she asks "Billy sent all this?"
"Huh? Oh no it wasn't Billy. Mac smiles. It was a guy I met yersterday by the pool named Kyle Smith."
Cass starts choking on her tea and Mac runs over to her. "I am all right  she says after the coughing subsides. How did you meet this guy Kyle again?"
Mac shrugs "I was sitting by the pool sunbathing and he just came over to talk to me. We talked for awhile there and then later that night we met again on the beach. She smiles at Cass. He's a nice guy."
"I thought you and Billy wgere gettung closer?"
"Well so did I for awhile, but then I realized it was pointless. Billy will never commit to a relationship with me and I am sick of waiting. I am going to tell Raul that I need some time away from him."
"And then what?" Cass asked gabbing a piece of bacon.
"And then we'll see what happens. I want Billy, but I am not going to spend the rest of my life fighting with  him and his loyality. She takes a plate and begins fixing her breakfast. Come on Cass, dig in. A knock comes from the adjoining door. Who is it?"Mac calls out with a grin.
"Two hungry guys." Chris answers.
Cass opens the door and lets the guys in. "Well then you've come to the right place."
Billy looks over at the food. "You ordered this?
Mac shakes her head. "Nope, it was delivered because someone else ordered it."
"Who?" Chris asks as he grabs a plate and begins filling his plate up.
"A guy named Kyle." Cass replies  looking  at Billy  who had gone  white at the name.
"Kyle ordered all this?" Billy asked quietly.
Mac nods. "Yeah he ordered all of this."  She took her plate of yogurt and fruit and sat down in one of the chairs.
"Okay I obviously missed something, Who is Kyle?" Chris inquired.
"Just a guy I met yesterday." Mac shrugged and grinned.
Billy started to feel the jealous raise up in him again. He tried to cover it by filling his plate with food and devouring its contents. "So, are you going to see him later?" he asked hoping the answer was no. Mac shrugged again. "I don't know. Maybe." She put her finished plate back on the tray and stretched as Billy watched her every move with a feeling of longing. "I'm going to get dressed and then head down to the beach. Cass you want to come with me?"
"Sure. Just let me finish and get dressed."
"Okay while you do that I'll take a shower. I hope you all enjoyed the breakfast." Mac turned around and headed for her room.
Cass and Chris looked over at Billy and saw he was barely controlling his jealously. Cass cleared her throat. "Um...Billy if you want Mac, you're going to have to prove to her you are willing to go the distance."
Billy looked between the two and inquired, "How? How do I do that?"
"Well, you can start by doing gestures like this."
Chris answered. "Make her feel special."
Billy starts beginning suspicious of Cass and Chris.
"You tow set Mac and I up yesterday, didn't you?" Cass and Chris start looking around the room whistling.
"You did. How in the world did you pull that off?"
Cass finally looks over at Billy, "We had a little help." She says as she uses her fingers to demonstrate how much.
"Are you mad at us?" Chris inquired.
Billy grinned at his friends and shakes his head. "No, in fact I'm glad you two did that. I think I'm going to need all the help I can get to get Mac back completely. This guy Kyle is good and I underestimated him when we first met." Billy throws down the napkin onto the table. "He said I'd have a fight on my hands for Mac, but I didn't really believe him. I guess I should have listened better." The phone rings and Mac yells out to her friends that she'd get it. "I wonder who that is." Billy said and grabbed the phone to listen as Chris and Cass crowd around him.
"So, you enjoyed the breakfast?" Kyle asked.
"I loved it. The rose was beautiful." Mac said and Billy's envy grew another degree.
"Well, I tried to pick one that would do you justice, unfortunately I failed. Your beauty is impossible to match."
Billy got sicker and Mac laughed. "You are quite a charmer, Mr. Smith."
"I only speak the truth, but that's not why I called."
"Oh, why did you call?" Mac asked.
"I wanted to know if you would meet me for lunch."
"I'd love to. Where do you want to meet?"
"Um...you know what? This is our first date so I'm going to do it right, I'll pick you up."
"Okay, what should I wear?"
"Oh, it doesn't matter. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I know you'll look incredible."
"Thanks." Mac says softly. "When are you coming?"
"How about 1:30?"
"I'll see you then. Bye, Kyle."
"Bye, Mac." Everyone hangs up and Billy looks at Chris and Cass.
"It's time I started fighting, don't you think?" Chris and Cass nod. "Okay, are you going to help me?" Again they nod. "Then let's get our other conspirators over in Chris and my room for some planning." They share a grin and the fun begins.
