"I know that forever is long, long time for a girl to put her heart on the line," the radio blared. "You can say that again!" Mac said as she walked across her bedroom to switch off the music. She walked over and flopped back down on her bed. "What am I going to do?" she said aloud. "Why is it that I don't feel that way about Raul? He is such a sweet guy, but there's just not anything more then friendship there!" Earlier that morning Raul had shown up unannounced and shared his soul with her. He had said he loved her and asked her out. But she had told him no. Not because she didn't like him, but because she didn't like him in that way. 'I didn't want to hurt him, but I couldn't lie to him either,' she said. 'Why did boys have to be so complicated? I hope he understands.' she sighed. But some how she doubted he did, the look in his eyes had said it all. She had broken his heart, and there was nothing she could do to fix it, at least not now. As she layed back on the bed she heard the doorbell ring downstairs. She crawled off the bed when she heard it ring twice and hurried downstairs to answer it. As she got to the bottom of the stairs she noticed Jill standing in the living room. "Aren't you going to answer it?" Mac asked. "I thought Esther would get it," she replied. "That's her job!" "She's out running errands." Mac said as she opened the door. When she looked at the person standing in front of her she gasped. "Hi." he said. "Billy?" Jill asked from the living room. "Is that you honey?" "Hi mom." he said as he walked past Mac into the living room. "What on earth are you doing here?" she asked after she hugged him. "Dad is away on business for the summer so he sent me to you," Billy replied. "Didn't he tell you?" "No, no he didn't." Jill replied. "But that's okay what a nice surprise!" Mac still stood in the entryway watching the reunion. She'd known Jill had a son but she didn't know that he was her age, and that he was georgeous! Her mind quickly dismissed the thought and she tried to walk back up the stairs but Jill said, "Billy I'd like you to meet Mackenzie Reynold's." "Hi nice to meet you." Billy said. "It's nice to meet you too." Mac said with a smile. "Mackenzie is Katherine's granddaughter," Jill said flatly. "But we won't hold that against her." "Thanks Jill." Mac said with a frown. "Well honey, I hate to do this but I have to go to work." Jill said. "Maybe Mackenzie can show you around?" "Ah I have to go to work at the coffee house, but your welcome to come with me." Mac offered. "Sure," Billy replied a little to quickly. "Just let me run my stuff upstairs." He dashed upstairs and returned shortly and then they headed out the door to Mac's black Honda. A few minutes later they walked into Crimson Lights and Mac spotted Raul. She approached him and said, "Hey Raul." He turned to look at her with a frown soon faded, when he saw Billy. "Hey Billy, how's it going?" he asked. "Hi Raul, it's going great." Billy replied. "So I take it you two know each other?" Mac asked a little confused. "Yeah we were great friends before Billy moved away," Raul replied. "Are you back for good?" "Ah maybe, but at least for the summer." Billy replied. "Well I have to get to work," Mac said. "I think I am leaving you in good hands!" Billy smiled at her and she turned and walked over to the counter. "So what's her story?" Billy asked. "Who's Mac's?" Raul asked. "Yeah she's cute." Billy replied. "She's nice, we've been friends since she got here last summer." Raul said. "Is she dating anyone?" Billy asked. "Well no but..." Raul said. "Great!" Billy smiled. "Well now just wait a minute Billy!" Raul said. "What Raul? Do you like her or something?" Billy asked. "Well no but..." he said again. "But what?" Billy asked. "Never mind, go for it man." Raul said with a fake smile. "I think I am going to order a smoothie." Billy said with a grin. "Okay." Raul replied as he turned back to the computer. Billy walked over to the counter and Mac turned to take his order with a smile. "What can I get you?" she asked. "I think I'll take a strawberry smoothie." Billy replied with a grin. "Coming right up." she replied. She told Cody the order then turned back to Billy just as Brittany Hodges walked up to the counter. "Mac aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?" she asked. "I guess," Mac said with an annoyed frown. "Brittany Hodges this is Billy Abbott, Billy Abbott this is Brittany Hodges." "Hey." Billy said then he tried to turn back and talk to Mac. But Brittany said, "Hey would you like to come sit with my friends and I?" "Ah no I've got someone over there." Billy said as he pointed over towards Raul. "Well then I guess I will see you around then," Brittany said with a smooth smile. "In fact you can count on it!" Mac watched her walk over to Rianna and then turn toward Billy. "What's with her?" Billy asked. "What isn't, she's Brittany!" Mac replied. "I think I'll stay away from her." he said. "Good idea." Mac laughed. As the order bell rang. She went to fetch his smoothie and then handed it to him. "Enjoy." she said with a smile. "I will." he replied and then he walked back over to Raul. "So I see you met Miss Brittany." Raul said with a smile when Billy approached him again. "Yeah it was interesting." Billy replied. "I think she likes you." said Raul with a smile. "I think I'll stick with Mac." Billy said as he look over to were Mac stood. "That's the choice I would have made too!" Raul laughed. "Who was that?" Rianna asked when Brittany walked back to their table. "That is Billy Abbott." Brittany smiled as she watched him. "Well it looks like he's interested in Mac." Rianna replied. "He is now, but we'll see what the future brings." Brittany said with a smug smile. "What do you mean by that?" Rianna asked. "Oh you'll see soon enough," Brittanty said. "Just trust me when I say Billy Abbott will soon be mine, I always get what I want!" Later that afternoon Mac and Billy walked through the front door of the estate in pure laughter. "You're lying." Mac said. "No I'm not I promise." Billy grinned. "Sure and why should I believe you?" Mac said with a smile. "Well for starters cause I am me and then because, well I don't know the other reason." he laughed. "Exactly," Mac replied. "You're not very believeable!" "Oh sure I am." Billy replied as he walked into the living room. "Whatever you say Billy," she said laughing. "So what should we do now?" "I don't know, you're the one who lives here." Billy replied. "Oh so that makes me an expert on entertainment?" Mac asked. "Yup." he replied as he flopped on the couch. "I don't think so," she smiled. "You can think of something!" "How about a movie?" he suggested. "Sure, there's lots of them in the tv room." "Well then let's pop some popcorn and grab some sodas." he said as he stood up and walked toward the kitchen. "Okay." she said as she followed him. A few minutes later they reappeared carrying popcorn and sodas. Mac sat the popcorn down on the table and asked, "What type of movie should we watch?" "A scary one." he replied with a grin. "No thanks." Mac said as she shook her head. "Oh come on, I'll be there to protect you if you get scared." he laughed. "That's what I was afraid of." she replied as she picked up the popcorn and headed into the tv room. Billy grinned to himself when he heard Mac call, "Are you coming?" "Yeah I am on my way." he replied as he headed down the hall to join her. "What movie did you pick?" Mac asked when Billy walked away from the VCR and moved to sit next to her. "Oh you'll see." he replied with a grin. "Oh great, I can't wait!" she replied sarcastically. "You'll love it I promise," he replied. "And if you get scared like I said I'm here to protect you!" "That's a comfort." she replied. The movie started and chills ran down Mac's spine. Billy had chosen some horror film she had never heard of and it was terrifying! And no matter how hard she fought it she ended up almost in his lap halfway through the movie. Billy grinned to himself as Mac inched closer and closer. And he was ready when she screeched and suggled close to him. He just tucked an arm around her and held her close. Near the end of the movie he had to tear her off him so he could go get another soda. And when he returned the movie had ended and Mac was sitting on the couch curled up in a ball. Billy laughed to himself and snuck up behind her. "Boo!" he said grabbing her shoulders. "Oh my G**!" she cried with a scream. She jumped to her feet and spun to face him. "You little jerk!" she cried still shaking. "You're gonna get it!" "Oh yeah?" he challenged, "Yeah." she replied with a grin. "Bring it on." he replied as he put the couch between them. "You're going to pay!" she cried as she went after him filled with laughter. Mac sprang at Billy over the couch and tackled him to the ground. She quickly held him down and began to tickle him. "Quit it, that tickles!" he said between laughter. "Give up?" she asked. "Never!" he cried. Then he rolled over and pinned Mac beneath him. "Now look who's in control!" he replied. "Not for long." she laughed. "Oh really? Think you can get away?" he asked. "See that's where you're wrong," she said. "I don't think." she said. "I know!" And all of a sudden she let out a shriek and Billy jumped in surprise letting go of her hands. Mac wiggled out from under him and ran around to the other side of the couch. "You think that's going to protect you?" he asked with a grin. "Maybe," she replied as she watched him carefully. Billy dove over the couch and fell flat on his face with a grunt. When he rolled over Mac was standing over him asking, "Are you okay?" He didn't even give her time to think, he just reached up and pulled her down on top of him. "I told you I'd get you," he laughed. "That was all part of my plan!" "Oh sure it was!" she laughed but she didn't try to pull away. Their faces were inches apart and just as Billy moved closer the phone rang. "Ignore it," Billy whispered. "Esther will get it." "But what if it's for me?" she asked reaching for the cordless phone that layed on the floor inches away. "Hello?"she answered. "Hey Mac." Ilanna said. "Oh hi Ilanna, how's it going?" Billy just kept his arms wrapped around her waist and tried to listen to the conversation. "Pretty good what's up?" she asked. "What am I doing?" Mac asked. "Well you don't want to know. And actually I am kinda busy can I call you back later?" "Yes I do want to know, you sound funny! Are you all right?" Ilanna asked. "Ah yeah I am just great," Mac replied as she looked down at Billy. "Actually I just finished watching a movie with......" "Oh don't tell me.....Raul! I thought we talked about this Mackenzie, you guys are just friends," Ilanna said. "Remember we had that big long conversation about him the other night, and we'd worked everything out!" "No that's not who's over," Mac said seriously. "And if you'd let me finish I would tell you Billy's over!" "Who's Billy? And why haven't I met Billy?" Ilanna asked excitedly. "Billy is Jill's son." Mac replied. "And I just met him today and actually he's going to be staying for the summer!" "Is he cute?" Ilanna asked. "Well at the moment I can't discusss that." Mac replied with another grin. "Well then I am coming over to see for myself," she stated. "Then I'll give you my opinion!" "When have I ever asked?" Mac laughed. "That's not the point," Ilanna giggled. "Oh and I am bringing Laurel and Nicole with me. They should be here any moment. In fact I think I see lights in the driveway! "Wait you can't do that!" Mac said. "Wanna bet?" she asked with a laugh. "I'll see you soon!" "But....." Mac started but it was too late all she heard was the dial tone. "Great." she said as she sat the phone down. "What?" Billy asked. "My friends are coming over." she replied as she crawled off of him. "What's wrong with that?" he asked as he climbed to his feet. "You'll see." she said as she called as she carried the empty cans and bowl toward the kitchen. Fifteen minutes later the front doorbell rang and Mac tried to ignore it. "Just turn off all the lights and maybe they'll go away." she said as the bell rang again. "Come on Mac, I want to meet your friends." he urged. "If you don't open the door I will." "Okay, okay if I have too." she replied as she walked to the door. She slowly opened the door and groaned when she saw her friends grinning back at her. "Hey Mac!" Ilanna smiled. "What took you so long? I hope we weren't interrupting anything." "No nothing was happening," Mac replied. "I was just hoping you'd go away!" "Never!" Laurel laughed as she looked Billy up and down. Mac shot her a look and Laurel just grinned at her. "I hope you don't mind but, Leah and Rachel were with Nicole and Laurel." Ilanna said as they walked down the hall towards the tv room. "No, why should I mind?" Mac asked through clenched teeth. They all flopped down in diffrent places and Mac made the introductions. "Billy that's Laurel." Mac said. "Hey." Billy smiled. "Nice to meet you." Laurel replied with a smile. "And that's Nicole and Leah." Mac stated. "Hi." he replied with a grin. "How's it going?" they asked. "And that's Rachel." Mac said. "Hi." he said as he laughed at Mac. "And finally this is my best friend Ilanna." Mac finished. "What's up?" Ilanna asked. "Just hanging out." Billy replied. "I bet." she laughed. "So now that you've met him, I guess that it's time for you to be going right?" Mac asked. "No way we just got here!" Leah said. "Yeah they just got here, and I need to make new friends." Billy said. "Then you don't want to be here." Mac replied. "Hey," Laurel cried. "Come on we're not that bad!" "Your not?" Mac asked. "No we're not." Rachel said. "Yeah and to think we came all the way over here to invite you to go to Crimson Lights with us." Ilanna said. "Sorry we're busy." Mac replied. "No we're not," Billy said. "Where is Crimson lights?" "Oh over on main street." Leah replied. "Yeah remember we were there today?" Mac asked. "Oh yeah, then come on Mac it will be fun." Billy pleaded. "Fine just let me go change," she replied. "Come on girls come with me!" "But we were going to...." Ilanna started. "Now!" Mac replied before she could finish. "Okay, okay we're coming." Rachael said. "We'll be back" Leah smiled. "I am counting on it!" Billy laughed. He laughed even harder when he heard Mac yelling at them all the way up the stairs until their voices faded down the hallway. Tonight was going to be interesting! |

Mac wandered into her room then flopped down on her bed. "We didn't do anything!" Leah insisted. "Sure you didn't." Mac replied. "We were just being friendly." Laurel said. "Uh huh." Mac said as she got off the bed and walked to her closet. "What's wrong Mac, did we embarrass you?" Ilanna teased. Mac turned and glared at her. "He is cute," Ilanna said with a grin. "And if you don't want him....." "Don't even think about it!" Mac hissed as she flipped through her clothes. She finally pulled out a pair of kaki shorts and a black tank top. She wandered into the bathroom, but left the doors open a crack. "He's off limits!" she said. "But I thought by the way you were acting...." Ilanna started. "Don't think just listen," Mac snapped. "He's mine!" "Okay okay," she replied. "I was just joking!" "I know, but I really like him." Mac said as he reappeared from the bathroom. "You look cute." Nicole said. "Thanks." Mac smiled. "How does he feel?" Laurel asked. "I have no clue." Mac replied as she walked over to her vanity. "Want me to find out?" Leah asked. "No I can handle this on my own thank you very much." Mac replied as she pulled a brush through her hair. "I was just offering." Leah said. "I know, but I can handle it." Mac replied. She smoothed some lip gloss on and then stood up and walked towards the door. "You guys ready?"" she asked. "Yup let's party!" Nicole laughed. They all hurried downstairs and into the tv room to find Billy watching tv. "You ready?" Mac asked from the doorway. He stood and flipped the tv off and when he turned around a smile lit his face. "You look great!" he said as he walked toward them. "Thanks." she replied. "What about me?" Laurel asked. "You all look great." he replied with a grin. They all walked into the entryway and then out the front door. "Billy and I will take my car." Mac said. "Sure." Laurel said. All four of them pushed and shoved as they climbed into Nicole's red Neon. They drove the short distance into town and then pulled into the coffee house parking lot. "Ready?" Billy asked as they climbed out of the car. "As ready as I'll ever be." she replied as the others walked up to them. Billy reached for her hand and held it tightly as they walked into Crimson lights. The evening was warm so they found a table on the patio and brought out extra chairs. After they were seated a waitress walked up and took their order. "What can I get for you?" she asked. "Ah I'll have a peach smoothie." Nicole said. "Me too." Ilanna said. "I'll have a raspberry one." Leah said. "Let's see, I'll have a vanilla shake." Laurel said. "I'll have a chocolate one." Rachel said. "And I'll have a strawberry smoothie." Mac said. "Me too." Billy said. "Great, I'll bring those right over." the waitress said as she walked away and they started in on Billy. "So where are you from?" Nicole asked. "New York City." he answered. "Oo I love the big apple!" Leah cooed. "What do you mean?" Ilanna asked. "You've never been there!" "Well I've seen pictures!" she frowned. "How long are you staying?" Laurel asked. "For the summer I think, maybe longer." he replied. "I am staying with my mom while my dad is out of town on business for the summer." "Really?" Rachel asked. "Yeah my family owns Jabot." he said. "Oh that's right," Ilanna said. "You'll love it here, especially with us around!" "I am already enjoying it." he said looking down at Mac's hand that he was still holding. She blushed then tucked some hair behind her ear. Just then the waitress brought their drinks and she sat down an extra milkshake in front of Billy. "Ah I didn't order this." "I know, that young lady over there bought if for you." the waitress said. They all turned to look inside where the waitress pointed and saw Brittany waving at Billy. "Oh great." Laurel groaned. "There goes the evening." Ilanna said. "Let's just ignore her." Nicole said. "Too late, here she comes." Rachel said with a frown. Brittany walked up and smiled. "Hi Billy!" she cooed as she stopped at their table. "What do you want Brittany?" Mac asked. "Was I talking to you?" Brit snapped. "Did we invite you here?" Nicole asked. "I didn't know it was an invite only." Brit replied. "Well it is, so get lost!" Laurel hissed. "Look I was just saying hi to Billy." Brit said. "Well you've said it, now leave us alone." Ilanna said. "Come on guys, let's not start things." Leah pleaded. "Yeah guys, just settle down." Rachel said. "You better be wise and listen to your friends," Brittany replied. "Anyway, Billy call me sometime! I am sure we could think of something to do!" Mac glared up at her then smiled when Brittany saw that he was holding her hand. "I'll see you later!" she said and then she quickly walked inside. "I hate her." Ilanna said. "You're not the only one." Mac replied. "She's so fake." Laurel said. "Come on guys, let's get over it and have a good time." Leah insisted. "Yeah right." Nicole commented. "What shall we do?" Rachel asked. "I know let's show Billy around." Laurel suggested. "We'll just start walking." "Walking?" they all goaned in unison. "Yeah come on lazy bones." she said as she stood up. "Where should we go first?" Mac asked as Billy took a hold of her hand again. "Oh I don't know let's just go." Ilanna replied. They headed out the door and as they passed Brittany they all sent glares her way. She just frowned and turned away. "That was a blast!" Mac laughed as she, Billy, and Ilanna walked through the front door of the estate. "It was wasn't it?" Ilanna giggled. "So Billy what do you think of Genoa City?" Mac asked. "It's diffrent than I remember, but then again I was pretty little when we left." he replied. "Well I am beat." Ilanna yawned. "Yeah me too." Mac said with a smile as they headed to the stairs. "Then I guess I'll see you two ladies in the morning." Billy said with a grin as they walked up the stairs. "I had a great time tonight." Mac said. "Yeah me too." he replied. "Ah I'll see you in a minute." Ilanna grinned. They didn't even hear her as she walked down the hallway, all they saw and heard was each other. Billy grinned at her and slowly leaned in to touch his lips to hers. He wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck. They stayed that way for what seemed like forever, then they broke apart and smiled at each other. "I'll see you in the morning." she said. "Yeah in the morning." he replied. Mac turned with another grin and headed down to her room. When she reached her door she turned to see Billy staring at her. She smiled at him and then disappeared inside shutting the door behind her. When she turned to face Ilanna she asked, "So what happen?" "What do you mean?" Mac asked innocently. "Oh don't give me that," Ilanna laughed. "Come on spill it!" "Spill what? I don't know what your talking about," Mac replied. "Weren't you the one that was tired?" Mac walked over to her dresser and pulled out her pajama's. "I am going to go change." she said. "You're not going to get off that easily!" Ilanna called as Mac shut the bathroom door. When Mac returned she walked silently into the room and crawled into bed next to Ilanna. "No way this isn't over!" she cried. "Fine!" Mac cried. "He kissed me!" "I knew it." Ilanna grinned. "He's cute I know that." Mac replied. "Are you going to date him?" Ilanna asked. "I don't know, I still have to deal with the whole Raul thing." Mac replied. "Oh not that again! Just let it go, you're just friends remember?" Ilanna asked. "It's more complicated now." Mac replied. "What do you mean?" Ilanna asked. "Well it turns out that they were best friends." she replied. "Who? Billy and Raul?" Ilanna asked. "No Billy and big foot!" Mac sighed. "Of course Billy and Raul! I guess they grew up together." "Really?" Ilanna asked thoughtfully. "Yep. So now do you see why it's more complicated?" Mac asked. "Yeah I guess so," she replied. "But I still think you should go for it!" "Can we talk about this in the morning? I am really tired." Mac asked. "Sure," Ilanna sighed. "But we will finish this!" "I was kinda hoping you'd forget." Mac yawned. "Me forget? Never!" Ilanna giggled. "Goodnight." Mac said as she rolled over and turned off the lamp. "Night." Ilanna replied. The next morning Mac awoke with the early summer sun shining on her face. Ilanna was still asleep next to her so she climbed quietly out of bed and slipped out to the hall. She walked down the hall and down to the kitchen. Everything was quiet which also meant that everyone was still asleep. She poured herself a bowl of cereal and then went to sit at the table. As she munched, her thoughts wandered to Billy. 'He was cute, he was also Raul's friend' she thought. 'Would it hurt Raul?' She gazed out the window and tried to decide what to do. 'I guess I should talk to him about it,' she thought. 'Yeah I'll do it today!' Just them she felt strong gentle hands on her shoulders. She tilted her head back to see who was behind her. She smiled at the sight of Billy. His hair was sticking up in all directions and sleep still clouded his eyes. He was wearing running pants and a white tee shirt, which was wrinkled from sleep. "Good morning beautiful." he said with a smile. "Hey," she replied with a welcoming smile. He pulled out a chair and sat next to her. "Did you sleep well?" she asked. "Yeah," he replied. "You?" "Yeah I slept great." she replied. "Where's Ilanna?" he asked. "Still sleeping." she replied. "Good." he said with a grin. "Why?" she asked. "Because I wouldn't want her to walk in on this." he said as he leaned in and kissed her. "Am I interrupting something?" A familiar voice asked. "Go away," Mac wined to Ilanna. "Just go back to bed and forget you ever saw anything!" "Oh but where's the fun in that?" she giggled. "It isn't supposed to be fun," Mac replied. "Well at least not for you." She grinned over at Billy and he just laughed. "So how did you sleep?" Ilanna asked Billy. "Oh pretty good." he replied as he stood up and went to get a bowl of cereal. "So what are we going to do today?" Ilanna asked. "Oh I don't know," Mac replied as Billy sat down next to her. "After we get ready let's call everyone and invite them over for a pool party." "That's a great idea," Ilanna smiled. "And a great way for Billy to meet everyone else." "No ya think?" Mac replied sarcastically. "Hey now there's no need for that tone of voice," Ilanna laughed. "I am gonna go shower! Wanna join me Billy?" she asked as she laughed and walked away. Billy blushed and called, "I think I'll stay here with Mac!" And after she had disppeared he whispered, "Where it's safe!" "Oh she's just kidding." Mac giggled. "I know, so am I. I just wanted to see you smile beautiful!" He leand down and kissed her softly at first and then with passion. They broke away breathless and smiling. "So who are you inviting over?" he asked couriously. "Oh you'll just have to wait and see." She replied as she stood and took her bowl to the sink. "Fine," he said. "Be mysterious!" "Good I will!" she laughed. As she walked past the table again Billy grabbed her arm and asked, "Where do you think you're going?" "To shower and dress." she replied in confusion. "I mean without giving me a kiss goodbye?" he smiled. "Oh I forgot," she said with a grin. "Then again you may not deserve one!" "Get over here!" he laughed as he pulled her towards him. He kissed her for quite a while then he let her go. She smiled then hurried from the room then up the stairs. When she reached her room Ilanna was just coming out of the bathroom with her hair wrapped in a towl. "So what's the plan?" she asked. "We're having a party," Mac replied as she headed into the bathroom. "I'll be out in a second." she called. About ten minutes later Mac apeared and walked over to her dresser and pulled out a pair of jean shorts and and her dark red bikini. "Ooooo that will look georgeous!" Ilanna said with a sly smile. "You'll knock Billy's socks off!" "That's what I am hoping for." Mac said as she stepped into the bathroom to change. When she reappeared Ilanna was dressed in her blue bikini and waiting for Mac. "Are you ready?" she asked. "Yep let's go see what Billy's doing." Mac replied. They walked downstairs and into the living room. Billy was sitting on the couch in his swim trunks reading a magazine when they walked in. He looked up and his mouth dropped to the ground. "You look incredible!" he grasped out trying to find his voice. "Thanks you look pretty good yourself," Ilanna replied. "But what about Mac?" They all laughed and Mac jabbed Ilanna in the ribs lightly with her elbow. "Ow that hurt, let's not get physical." she cried. "Or I'll have to take you down!" "Oh I am scared," Mac replied. "If I remember correctly, I was the one that took you down the last time you said that!" "Only because you cheated!" Ilanna insisted. "Sure you keep telling yourself that!" Mac laughed. "And maybe one day you'll believe it!" "Whatever!" Ilanna replied. "I'll get you though." They all walked into the kitchen and began to make phone calls. After about an hour everyone was coming, including Raul. "Great I am so excited," Mac said. "Come on guys we've got lots to do and people will be here soon!" "Yeah let's get to work." Ilanna said as they went through the kitchen to find food. An hour later the front doorbell rang and Mac hurried to answer it. "Hey guys!" she said with a smile. "Hey Mac!" Nicole said as she walked into the house holding Mark's hand. "Where's Billy? I want Mark to meet him." "He's out back." she replied as they walked through the kitchen. "Who else is coming?" Mark asked. "Ah Laurel, Jordan, Ryan, Leah, Rachel, Dave, Karin Jim, Raul and Rianna, and Ilanna is out back." Mac replied. They walked out into the sunshine and Mac smiled at Billy who was sitting by the pool's edge. "Billy this is Mark." Mac introduced. "Hey!" Billy said as he stood up . "How's it going?" Mark asked. "Great I am having a blast." He replied. Just then the doorbell rang again and Mac dashed to answer it. "Behave yourselves!" she called over her shoulder. "Don't we always?" Nicole called back. Mac answered the door and smiled at Laurel, Jordan, Leah, and Ryan. "Hey!" they all said. "Everyone's out back," Mac said. "Are you guys ready to party?" "You bet." Ryan laughed. "Yeah I look forward to your pool parties all year long." Laurel said. "Me too." Leah agreed. "So where's Billy?" Laurel asked. "Out back." Mac replied. "Great!" Leah said. They all headed out back and Mac introduced Billy to Jordan and Ryan. "It's nice to finally meet the guys." Billy laughed. "Hey!" all the girls cried. "Didn't we show you a good time?" Laurel asked. "What kind of good time?" Jordan asked jealously. "Oh don't get jealous!" Laurel laughed. "Yeah we just showed him around town last night." Leah said. "You know while you guys were at the football game." Ilanna said. The doorbell rang again and Mac hurried to answer it. And when she returned Rachel, Dave, Karin. and Jim where with her. "Hey guys!" Nicole called. "Hey!" they all called back. "Who else are we waiting for?" Karin asked. "Ah...Raul and Rianna." Mac replied. Rachel looked at Ilanna and asked "Where....." "He's going to be late," she interrupted sharply. "But he said he'd be here!" Just then Raul and Rianna walked through the back door. "Sorry, we just let ourselves in." Rianna said, "No problem," Mac smiled. "Hi Raul." "Hey." he replied quietly. "Well let's get this party started!" Jim said. They turned up the radio and headed towards the food. "I am starved!" Rachel said. "Me too!" Karin said. "Me three!" Nicole laughed. "Jordan honey, would you rub some suntan lotion on my back please?" Laurel asked. "Sure babe." He replied as she handed him the bottle. "Thanks." she said after she kissed him softly. "Anytime." he replied. |
