Lea
The leading character of the story.  She played the roles of being the mother (and even the father) of Maya and Ojie, a wife of Raffy, a live-in partner of Ding, and a worker in a social action group.  She is a woman of courage in facing her problem, and strongly believes that for every problem there is always a solution.  She is a working mother and brought up her two children with her own effort.

Ding
The live-in partner of Lea and the father of Maya. He is a person who was still very close to his mother despite his age to the point of dependency.  Though he may not have performed his duties well as a replacement father for Ojie, he acted well for his role as a father of Maya.

Raffy
The first husband of Lea and the father of Ojie.  He is a type of person who is quiet and does not express his feelings that much.  After he left his family for his job, he came back to see Ojie, which begins the conflict of the story.

Ojie
The only son of Lea and Raffy.  He was at a young age when his father left him.  He asked so many questions to his mother on why she and his father did not live together with them.  Being a teenager, he became conscious, experiments and discovers what life really is.

Maya
The daughter of Lea and Ding.  A fresh graduate from kindergarten school and possesses intelligence and beauty.  She is more matured from other girls at her age and learned to be early independent from others.  She is a type of person who does not give up at once to a certain problem or situation and strive very hard to attain her goals.

Johnny
Officemate of Lea.  During the time Lea was depressed, not only was he there for her: he had a little affair with her.  Although they were bestfriends at first, Lea was the one who exerted effort into letting him fall for her.
