THIS WOMAN, THIS WARRIOR: Custom Classic Ms. Marvel

This figure is Ms. Marvel in her classic Dave Cockrum designed costume from her initial stint with the Avengers and the final issues of her solo series. Ironically, the base is a Sharon Ventura Ms. Marvel figure, which was a repaint of the Phoenix figure. I replaced her left hand with one from Medusa because I wanted her to have a fist. I didn't like the sculpted sash on the figure, so I sanded it down and used fabric for her sash. Her costume at the time was always drawn with dark blue highlights, so I painted this one blue to distinguish it from the black Warbird version. I used acrylic paints and sealed the figure with Krylon Matte Finish.
