THIS WOMAN, THIS WARRIOR: Custom Original Ms. Marvel

This figure is my retro Ms. Marvel figure featuring Carol's original Kree uniform. The base figure for this one was a Monster Armor Mystique figure. First, I filled in some of the costume details from the boots and gloves. These were actually sculpted into the figure. The hair was trimmed down a bit and then sculpted over with Sculpey to resemble Carol's feathered hair from the 70's series. It ended up a bit larger than I anticipated, but I think it captures the spirit of the 'do. The figure was repainted using acrylic paints and sealed with Krylon matte Finish. Carol's scarf was created using a short piece of ribbon and was affixed with a couple of drops of SuperGlue.
