Pictured at left is my latest eBay find! This Ms. Marvel sticker was one of many released in the United Kingdom. These stickers bear the code "FPI LEEDS 792121". The back has the company name "TAK TIK". Obviously this is yet another random Ms. Marvel product released in the '70s.
Here's another recent find on E-Bay! This 18 sticker set of Marvel and DC Comic Characters were issued in vending
machine capsules in 1979. Inside of each of those cool little plastic bubbles was a 1" x 3" sticker of your favorite comic characters. These stickers were fully licensed by DC Comics & Marvel Comics.
The set included: Superman, Capt. America, Spider-Woman, Batman, Robin, Batgirl, The Joker, The Riddler, The Penguin, Lex Luthor, The Thing, Fantastic Four, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Mighty Thor and of course, Ms. Marvel .
Ms. Marvel's inclusion in this set of heroes is quite interesting. All of the other characters rank among the most iconic and recognizeable super-heroes, with the notable exception of Ms. Marvel. Her presence here suggests that Marvel really intended for her to become one of their flagship characters. Perhaps if her solo title would have survived, Ms. Marvel would be as prominent today as heroines like Wonder Woman or Batgirl!
Above on the left are two stickers from the 1987 Marvel X-Men Sticker Set which feature Carol in her Binary form. The pair of rare Ms. Marvel stickers on the right are from France! These latest stickers were auctioned off on eBay as part of a larger set of Marvel SuperHero Stickers sold exclusively in France during the mid-70's. The seller was kind enough to send me a scan of the two stickers featuring Carol.
