To join the Feathers mailing list, send an e-mail to majordomo@netwrx1.com with the words subscribe Feathers in the body of the message. Leave the subject blank, and add nothing else to the message, with no signature.

You will receive a confirmation message. Follow the instructions, and you'll be on the list. You should then receive a welcome message with information about the list and how to post. You will then be on a friendly mailing list which you can exchange information and backyard birding and other topics pertaining to birds. You can either post, or just "lurk" and read everything that everyone else posts. The Feathers list does not receive a large amount of messages.

To join the BirdChat mailing list, send e-mail to listserv@listserv.arizona.edu with SUBSCRIBE BIRDCHAT YOURFIRSTNAME YOURLASTNAME in the body of the message, replacing "YOURFIRSTNAME YOURLASTNAME" with your actual name. Leave the subject blank, and add nothing else to the message, with no signature.

Once this email is sent, you will get a confirmation message. Simply follow the instructions provided in the confirmation message. Your subscription will be forwarded to the list owner, and soon you will be on the list. Topics on this list include nearly all aspects of birding, bird conservation, bird identification, etc. Once you are subscribed to the list, you will receive an email describing topics appropriate for list discussion.
