Yellow-rumped song: Grand Tetons National
Park, Lupine Meadow Trial, elevation approximately 8,000.
Recorded in a sagebrush clearing between Lodgepole Pine stands with
Green-tailed Towhee. 6/20/05 (71kb). Notice ascending suffix after
introductory two note trill. The song is repeated with
no alternating ascending and descending suffix. |

(66kb). Trill followed by descending suffix. Compare
with breeding song at Yosemite below. Notice long pause between two song sequences typical of
quiet, summit environment. There was virtually no human
environmental noise at this location. |

without the descending suffix. |
