This is my dedication to Lacey Chabert. Here I will dedicate a little corner of the internet to her. It's not much, just a Bio and pictures, but I think that's enough. Go to the "Other Links" section to link to some better Lacey sites. A little side note: This bio was cut and pasted onto mine from the foxworld site without permission. Slightly modified as more information comes. So if you think I'm an obsessed freak, you're only half right... I'll be the first to admit I'm probably a bit too into Lacey but whatever. I like my idols.

Twenty-one years old, Lacey Chabert began performing at age five when she tagged along with her older sister Wendy, who performed in a local Mississippi theater. At nine, she starred for two years as Young Cosette in the Broadway production of Les Miserables and as Baby Jane with Bette Midler in the television movie Gypsy.

In '97, Chabert co-starred in her first feature film "Lost in Space", which stars William Hurt, Mimi Rogers and Gary Oldman. She portrays the self-obsessed, daughter Penny Robinson. Lacey has appeared on several talk shows such as Rosie O'donnell(big mouth, small brain- O'donnell, not Lacey), David Letterman, and Jay Leno. She spent some time in London filming, and Austrailia where she promoted Lost in space.

Chabert starred in the television movie "Mother's Day," and "When Secrets Kill(I had a chance to see this movie, and the acting was substandard, and in my opinion, not one of Lacey's better performances)." She also has also been very busy doing voice-over work for several high-profile productions such as Disney's Lion King II: Simba's Pride (young Vitani) and Little Redux Riding Hood(I think I might have seen this movie, but I don't know if what I'm thinking of is what she starred in), as well as MGM's Babes In Toyland (really a children's movie). She also does the voice for Eliza Thornberry in "The Wild Thornberries" on Nickelodeon. She also voiced young Anastasia in Disney's "Anastasia." She did for one season play the voice of Megan on "Family Guy" on Fox. This fell through due to unknown reasons (though the consensus is that it was her personal preference). Another movie released to video was an American tale movie.

Chabert's other television credits include starring roles in the daytime series All My Children and in the television movie A Little Piece of Heaven. She was also a junior vocalist finalist on Star Search '91. However, Lacey's claim to fame is from Party of Five. She spent six seasons on the show. It was canceled a while ago, and there's no telling where she'll go from there. She has made a couple of movies lately. One movie released in Italy (of all places) is called "Tart" which is about catholic schoolgirls, boys, and all that good stuff; I haven't seen this movie yet, so I cant really talk about it. She's stars in a movie entitled "Hometown Legend." It had a pretty limited theatrical release, but came out on DVD everywhere. An excellent movie in my opinion. She's also in another movie entitled "The Homefront." This one's about a Louisianna town during WW2, and the sorts of witch hunts that went on to find spies. Head over to the Internet Movie Database and check it out(there's a link on my links page- they list the movie as "The Scoundrel's Wife).

Chabert and her family;Tony (father) Julia (mother) and TJ (brother) moved to Los Angeles from Purvis, MS. Lacey is also an accomplished violinist, pianist and singer. I've also heard on good authority she's taken up the guitar as well. She doesn't seem very willing to share her talents with the rest of the world, and I think it's a shame. She has also been featured in the pages of STUFF magazine. The magazine photos have given Lacey some much needed publicity. She has been featured on the late late show with Craig Kilborn(or as I like to say: Craig "Not-as-good-as-Jon Stewart" Kilborn), and was also interviewed by Tony Potts on access hollywood. An alright interview, though trivial it was nice to see Hollywood hasn't forgotten her.

Her latest film; "Mean Girls" is a great high school flick about- get this- mean girls! I love such hard-hitting analyses as that. Anyway, Tina Fey wrote it, and Tim Meadows plays the principal. It showcases all the cliques you find in high school. I guess I enjoyed the movie more than others because I grew up going to schools that never discouraged such things. I really relate to Lacey's character, Gretchen because she's always afraid of fitting in or being "cool." I used to worry about what certain people thought of me before coming to college and finding out it's all relative. By the way, the image on the right is her at the premiere.

Her next projects include a horror/thriller film called "Shadow of Fear." I'm excited about it since all she has done are cartoons, drama, and comedy. It should be interesting to see her in a thriller. She's currently filming a movie called "Dirty Deeds." IMDB describes it as: "An American Pie-like teen comedy in which a high school senior tries to become the first student ever to complete the Dirty Deeds..."
