The following is a list of bands and musicians and other associated people. It's not going to be an exhaustive list by any means, and nor is it intended to be. Some of these musicians already have official sites and/or a large number of loyal fans who've built impressive Internet shrines for them. My intention is more to celebrate the less well-known and the rarely celebrated, the ones who've made a difference to my life, and also to create a jumping off point to those other sites.

It's been my experience that the British music industry is incestuous enough that it's possible to link pretty well anybody with anybody else within "six degrees of separation". My arbitrary starting point is Deep Purple, and I quite enjoy figuring out the connection as I continue to research.
