How can I find other homeschoolers of colour in my area?

- Contact the Black and other organisations and community groups in your area. Ask them to pass on your contact info to members who are homeschooling or know others who do - Place an ad in your local newspaper's classifieds section - Ask your local small business organisation to pass on your contact info to homeschoolers -- many SOHO business owners homeschool as well - Ask your local librarian if they've noticed any homeschoolers or parents with childre of school age. Maybe s/he would be willing to pass on your contact info. If those families aren't of colour, they may know of one that is - Contact a major homeschooling organisation. It may have a representative in your area who would know how to get in touch with other homeschoolers of colour - Place a listing in your church bulletin ... Perhaps you can ask for prayers to aid your homeschooling adventure - Start a homeschooling support group. Distribute flyers, network with other community organisations to get the word out there.
