Ok, ok, this is my first shot so DONT HIT ME!! Its just another 'new senshi' fic, and my FIRST EVER published fic for the net. I know the title is corny but I couldn't think of a better one.

~New York City, New York, USA, June 8th, 2001~
Ashley smirked after the little girl. She was her sister after all. A brat, but still. She sighed and stared out the window again. Korakay had been right. New York wasn't very thrilling after you see it every day. She wanted to travel for once. She prayed for something to happen.
Later that night, Ashley's mother and father told her something. Something that Ashley almost jumped for joy, being the anime and Japanese freak she was, and any Japanese freak would envy. Her parents had bought her something. A trip to Japan!
She had almost choked her dad when he told her. Before she said anything, she let go and ran into her room, packing insanely (Even though the trip was 2 weeks away). She felt so excited. Finally her prayer was answered,or at least granted.
But then it hit her. Japan was across the ocean and the continents, right? So technically you'd have to go by PLANE, right? Well, just as luck would have it, this kid HATED planes. This is the type of kid you couldn't pay a million bucks to get on a plane. She gulped."I guess I'll just fall asleep, no wait!" Her little fear of heights was coming to her. "No, no, no, no, no!! I will not let this get to me!" she banged her fist into her bed. "Ok Comet girl, chill out. Its 2 weeks away, get over it. Now pull out that old Japanese to English textbook from Grandma-Bless her." It was going to be a short two weeks...
~ 2 weeks later~
Bring. Ashley groaned. Bring. Her hand came up and smacked the alarm clock off her nightstand. "Ashley honey get up!" someone's voice shouted. Ashley rubbed her eyes and reached for her glasses, which seemed to smack off onto the ground with her clock, of course. "What ma?" she yelled down. "Up and at 'em! You're going to miss your flight!" Her mother called up Her eyes shot open. "Crappity crapy crap." She whispered. She tossed on a Juuban uniform-where she was staying in Tokyo-grabbed her bag-and ran downstairs. "Whoa there sissy your hair is gonna fall out." Korakay giggled. Ashley stared back at her. Ashley had a particular style of hair. Rabbit-ear type bon bons with the rest curly and hanging to her chin. "Nah, too much hairspray in it Kora." She winked at the little girl. Korakay's hair was up in two pigtails, flipping back and fourth as she ran next to Ashley. "I wanna go with you!" Korakay whined.
Ashley looked down at the little girl with drowsy eyes. "Korakay." She bent down and hugged the little girl. "I love you sissy I don't want you to go even if it is for a month." Korakay whined. Ashley smiled. "I love you too honey. But it's only a month. Im 12 I can be a big girl."She ruffled the little one's hair.
"Ashley, Korakay, car, NOW." Her father shouted. Ashley bent down, picked up her stuff, grabbed Korakay's hand, and raced down the hall.
~New York City International Airport~
Ashley waved to her parents. After hours of going through Customs (Airport Heck) and metal detectors, she finally was boarding the plane. She smiled at her mom and dad, and smiled even wider with encouragement at Korakay, who smiled back and waved enthusiastically.
After boarding the plane, there was the matter of liftoff. Being the paranoid girl as she was, she clung to her seat, the only sign she was nervous. "Thank god im sitting alone."she thought. She played her Walkman loud in her ears but it wasn't enough. She felt her stomach lurch. "Don't puke Comet girl don't puke!" luckily for her, she didn't.
~About 3 days later and 6 air sickness bags used~
Ashley stood out of the Airport at Juuban. She looked at her passport. "Himeko Kometsu.I like that." She thought. After going through the dreaded heck known as Customs again, and metal detectors and such, she finally reached the place she was staying at. "The Tsukino residence." She said.
She knocked on the door. A woman with purple hair and bright eyes opened it and smiled at her. "Well you must be that American girl. Please come in." Ikuko grabbed her hand and pulled her inside. "One long month." Ashley thought, sighing mentally.
The house was nice enough. Looked like any normal house she'd ever seen, freakishly. She saw another girl of about 16 sitting on the couch, eating popcorn. Her hair was up in 2 golden bon bons with flowing pigtails and childish blue eyes. The other kid next to her looked younger and had brown, scruffy hair and mean blue eyes, and he looked rather angry. "Usagi, is this ALL you watch?!" The boy spat. "Pipe down brat im trying to watch this!" Usagi snapped at him. "Usagi! Don't talk to Shingo in that way!" Ikuko snapped. Usagi bowed her head and sweatdropped.
"Usagi, Shingo, this is Himeko, our little exchange student from America. She's staying with us for the month, remember?" Ikuko smiled. Usagi bolted up, knocking her popcorn in Shingo's face. She ran over to Himeko and smiled up at her. "Hi! By now you should know im Usagi, ive been waiting so long to meet you!!" Usagi beamed. Ashley sweatdropped. "She's so tiny." She smiled down at the 4 ft 11 in Usagi. "Not very tiny but lookit me im only 5 ft 1 in." Her mind jolted. Usagi grabbed her hand and rushed her upstairs, while Ikuko went outside and took her bags from the taxi.
~Usagi/Hime's room~
"This is my room, that's your bed over there." Usagi pointed to a longer bed. Ashley smiled. "Great." It was the first word she had ever said before she left home. Usagi smiled at her. "That puff ball on the bed is Luna, my cat." Usagi continued. Ashley laughed and picked up the sleeping Luna. "I just love cats." She smiled.
Luna stirred. She looked up at the girl smiling at her and petting her. Luna purred and mewed. "This girl seems oddly familiar. Could she be another soldier?" Luna thought. "What a cutie." Himeko giggled.
After getting set up, Usagi asked Himeko if she wanted a little tour of the district. "I guess so, Usagi. Im kinda bored just sitting here." Hime told her. Usagi smiled, grabbed her hand (Which hurt, she had a good grip), and bolted out the door.
"Usagi! Usagi my arm is gonna rip off!!" Himeko shouted up to her. Usagi stopped running when they reached a small temple. "We're heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere!" Usagi said cheerfully. She opened the side of the temple shrine to reveal 3 girls fighting over some cake and 1 girl studying. "Hey guys! This is Himeko, that exchange student I told you about!" Usagi beamed.
Well by now Himeko was half knocked out, and was practically dragged by Usagi. "Yeesh Odango, why don't you just kill the poor girl?" the raven-haired one commented. "Oh shut up Rei!" Usagi snapped.
Himeko blinked, and then stood up strait. "Hi! Im Kometsu Himeko." She bowed politely. "Very nice to meet you." She stood strait and smiled. "Hello Miss Kometsu. I am Kino Makoto. Call me Mako." A brown-haired, green-eyed, very tall girl said. Himeko nodded. "Im Aino Minako. Nice to meet a new face!" The blonde, blue-eyed girl beside Mako said, too cheerfully. "I am Hino Rei. This is my temple. You can visit anytime." The raven-haired, purple-eyed one said. "Im Mizuno Ami. Pleased to meet someone of a new culture. Do you like to read?" The blue haired, blue-eyed one stood up and smiled at her. The other girl's prepaired to groan, but where surprised when the girl nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! I love to read! Studying is ok too, but I love to read storybooks." Himeko said. Ami smiled.
"Do you like to eat too?" Mako asked. Himeko nodded. "I love sweets! I can cook too but its never-uh how do you say edible?" She laughed nervously. Makoto giggled. "First time for everything." Mako said. "Do you like volleyball?" Minako bumped in. "Yes! Its my favorite all time sport. I play in my schools team." Himeko smiled, eating one of the sweets Makoto had just gave her. "Do you like to play videogames?" Usagi asked. Himeko nodded. "My favorite is Street Fighter III but Racing NASCAR games are a close second."
"Do you like fashion?" Rei asked. Usagi rolled her eyes. "I do. But im more of a tomboyish type person." Himeko sweatdropped.
A white cat walked next to Himeko (Who was sitting on the floor with the other girls) and sniffed at her. "Oh what a cute cat!" Himeko gushed, picking up the white cat and placing him in her lap. She stroked his back fur gently. He purred. "That Artemis. He's my cat. Im surprised he isn't clawing you, he usually is unpleasant." Minako said, looking annoyed. "I have a way with cats.? Himeko replied."Artemis.Well Arty, you're a cutie." She giggled.
"Say, there's an animal shelter downtown, they're selling kittens at really low prices, do you want one?" Ami asked. Himeko nodded. "I would love one! But my mom hates cats!" She said, in a monotone type voice. "Poor you. Cats are fun!" Usagi patted Luna on the head, who promptly meowed. Himeko smiled. "Well I guess I better be off, you too Usagi. Your mom said she wanted us home by 6." Himeko pointed to her watch. Usagi's eyes widened. "Gotta book it see ya!" Usagi ran out the door, dragging Himeko behind her.
~Next Day, walking home from school~
" Well, how was your day?" Usagi asked, walking next to Himeko with Luna on her shoulder. "Don't ask. Being American isn't a good thing around here with some minor people." Himeko said, annoyed. "Definitely. There's just some people around here." Usagi shook her head and sighed.
Suddenly, Himeko felt something go through her. It was like a tremor before an earthquake, but it was something else. "Usagi, why don't you go ahead? I'll catch up." She said. Usagi looked puzzled for a moment, but then nodded and ran ahead.
Himeko waited until Usagi was out of sight, then turn and ran in the opposite direction. Something was pulling her towards the park. When she finally reached it, it was twilight, and the temperature was dropping. Himeko dropped to her knees and breathed heavily. She hadn't stopped running. She suddenly spotted a mewing cat, who seemed to be hurt. "Aw, hey kitty, you hurt?" She stood up and picked up the kitten, stroking its fur gently. She noticed a band-aid on its forehead. "Hey-what's this?" Himeko reached up and peeled the band-aid off. She gasped.
Underneath wasn't a patch of gray fur, but a weird snowflake-like bald spot in multiple colors. "Did some kids paint this on your head Kitty?" Himeko ran a finger along it. It wasn't paint, more like fur. She sighed. "I guess I'll take care of your paw kitty, but then you're on your own." Smiling at the gray kitten, she petted the black stripes on his back and walked back home.
~Next Day~
The gray kitten woke up. Its vision was blurry, but he blinked and could see clearly. "You're awake Kitty. That's good." Himeko said, looking at him from her vanity desk. The cat's eyes widened at the sight of Himeko. She was wearing her Juuban uniform, but her hair was down and flowing and was very curly. She picked up a brush and ran it through the thick masses of hair, watching the cat. "So, you feeling better?"She asked. The kitten mewed and looked at his paw. It was wrapped up and he seemed to still be limping.
Himeko smiled and walked over to the cat. "Well, what's your name little mister??"She asked. "Nermal." Grinned the kitten. Himeko's eyes widened and she jumped back 5 feet. "Did you just talk?!" She cried. "Well of course. Who else would be talking? Like I said, I am Nermal. And now I am sure who you really are." The cat jumped off the bed and bounded towards her. "You are a one miss Bunny Comet, no?" He asked. Stricken by shock, Himeko didn't move, but she talked in a small voice. "No one has called me Bunny in years, but yes, that is my name." She replied. Her hairstyle had always caused teasing, and she had been tagged the Comet Bunny."Ah, well then. You, my dear child, are Sailor Comet, fighter for the innocent, protector of those who cannot protect themselves.: He hopped onto her knee. "S-s-s-sailor Comet? As in Sailor Moon and the Sailor Soldiers??" She asked. He shook his head. "No. The Sailor Soldiers are a force all their own. You on the other hand, have your own little group, called the Dimension Soldiers. You fight and defend for all the many dimensions." He concluded.
Suddenly, a scream pierced the air outside. For some strange reason, Himeko felt a jolt go through her. She jumped up, sending Nermal flying onto the bed. "Oops. Sorry." She sweatdropped. Nermal sat up and shook his head. "Its alright. You must help the Sailor Soldiers defend Tokyo, for now. Here," He jumped up and did a back flip, producing a small Locket. It had the symbol that was on his head in the middle, then all the other symbols in small colored circles around it. The locket background was a light lavender-purple. "Use this to transform. Grab it, throw your hand into the air and shout 'Comet Prism Power Make UP!'."Nodding, Himeko grabbed it and threw her right hand in the air.
"Comet Prism Power Make UP!"
Her voice echoed. She suddenly felt light and being lifted into the air. After a few seconds of ribbons, feathers, lights, and weird music coming from nowhere, she fell back to the ground.
She looked at herself and gasped. No longer was a 12-year-old schoolgirl looking in the mirror, but someone else. The girl was at least 15 and stood about 5 ft 5, with Himeko's original hairstyle. Her eyes weren't behind silver frames, but larger and full of wonder. Her earrings dawned crescent moons, and her choker was pink with a purple circle and the sign in it. The 'ears' of her hair where covered in a multi-colored thing, and her tiara jewel was multi. Her entire uniform was multi-colored, right down to the boots. But the center of it was white, like a bathing suit. Her lips were adorned with a light pink lip-gloss that shone in the light. Her eyes sparkled with wonder.
"Who..who IS that?!" She pointed to the mirror, her voice older sounding and softer. "That is you." Nermal replied. "Me?! That isn't me!! That's some pretty 15-year-old girl in a flashy outfit who stole my hairstyle!! That isn't ME!!"She shouted. Thank goodness no one else was home. "We have no time to argue, Miss Comet. Come, we have lives to save." Nermal blinked and in a flash, they were gone.
They reappeared at the park, seeing a woman on the ground, and a weird creature hovering above her. Himeko had the urge to jump out and do something, but Nermal jumped in front of her. "No. Dimension Soldiers only help if they are needed, and you are the Leader of them, I thought your memory would jog that." Comet looked frantically from the cat to the woman and jumped past him. "I gotta help!!" She cried. Nermal shook his head. "Maybe she is needed right now." He ran after her.
"Hey you! Ya you! Get away from her!" Comet shouted. The thing stepped back, revealing Ami! Of all people it was Ami?! Comet felt more enraged and lunged at the thing, landing a right hook to its jaw. It stumbled backwards, occupied with mourning over how its 'beautiful face' and been damaged.
Comet felt something surge through her. It was a feeling of anger, rage, and power. She raised her hand. "Comet Tidal Wave Destroy!!" She screamed. 3 Walls of water suddenly burst from the ground and wrapped around her, then raged towards the monster like a Tsunami. The thing screamed and disintegrated.
Ami groaned on the ground and started to open her eyes. "Lets go." Nermal hopped onto Comet' shoulder. Comet made towards Ami, then felt something pull her back. She backed up, scrunched down, then jumped 20 feet into the air, landing onto the nearest building top. "ow. I can' believe I just did that!!"She cried. "ou always could. Now you can, always. It really helps."Nermal smiled at her.
Ami groaned and opened her eyes. She looked up. Before her was a blurry figure of a Sailor Soldier, but it wasn' any of the other Soldiers she knew. There where many colors on her, and her hair was a very dark brown. She saw the figure scrunch down, then jump up, and vanished from sight. " have to tell the girls about this."Ami said to herself. She pushed herself up, but fell back down. Sailor Moon came running up to her. "Ami! What happened? Where' the monster?!"She cried. She helped Ami up. " don' really know. I think a new Soldier has appeared. She helped me."Ami turned her blurred eyes upward towards a building top, and for a split second, she swore she saw the girl again, but she vanished just as quickly.
er that day, at Rei' temple~
"What?!" Minako cried. After Ami was returned and restored, she told the other girls what had happened. "A new Soldier?! But where could a new one come from?! I mean really Ami, almost everything has been a Sailor by now!" Minako whined. Ami shook her head. "I know what I saw. It was a Sailor Soldier. I couldn't see her face though." Ami sighed.
~Tsukino Residence, before anyone came home~
"WHAT?!" Himeko shrieked. "You mean I do that for a living?!" She had fully powered down now, back to her normal self. "Yes. That is your job, you could say. But you cannot tell anyone, not the closest person to you. It is your secret and your secret alone." Nermal continued. She stared at him in awe. "So, how did this happen to me?" She asked. He sighed. "Well, Hime-chan," He took a deep breath. He looked at her. "Are you ready to learn your true past?"
