Above a cliff.......
A pointy cliff.
Above an ocean.......
A tumulent ocean.
And on this cliff.
This pointy cliff.
A figure stands.
The image of this cliff moves......
As though you're seeing through a flying being's eyes......
It flys towards the figure.
The figure of a young woman.
Her head is bowed.
Her fist are clenched.
She is crying.
She notices the being.
She raises her head.
She smiles strangely. " Hello. What are you? I'm Akane Tendou. " she says with dark amusement.
She pauses for a moment and than raises an eyebrow with shinning eyes. " Oh. I see. You want to know why I'm standing here, don't you?" she askes in a voice choked with tears.
The image of her goes up and down as if the being nodded.
She laughs bitterly." It's my destiny. " she said in a bitter tone.
She pauses for another moment and a sad smile crosses her lips. " Why does my destiny bring me here, you ask.? "
The image of her goes up and down again.
The woman's features turns as cold and icy as the air around her. " I'm a curse." she says cooly as icy tears run down her cheeks.
She pauses for another minute and looks as though she was hearing something. " What kind of curse, you ask? " A dark smile crosses her lips. " The worst kind there is. " she says simply.
She pauses and cocks her head to the side as if to listen to the being. " You still want to know exactly why I'm standing here? " she repeats. Another strange smile crosses her lips. "Just watch and see. "
With the strange smile still on her lips, she turns around with her back to the ocean and steps a few steps back. The image of her move rapidly.
The strange smile stays on her lips as tears fall from her eyes. " What am I doing? " she laughs a humorless laugh. " Jumping off, of course!" The image of her gets smaller and smaller, as if the being is moving away quickly. The woman lets out another empty laugh. " Hey! Where are you going? Aren't you going to watch? "
The being seemingly gave her no reply and continued it's rapidly retreat.Akane shrugged and turn back to the ocean. " I think it'll be better face first. " She said to herself as she backed away a few steps. Taking a deep breathe, she sprinted off the cliff.
Instantly, images of her family and friends flashed before her eyes, ending with several images of a smiling Ranma. * Good bye * she thought as tears fell from her eyes. * I love you all. *
And than she was encased in a black oblivion......
