The engine is the Alfa Romeo twin OHC 1570cc unit, developing 108bhp and driving the rear wheels through a 5 speed gearbox. It has disc brakes all round and cost £1950 when new (more than an E-type Jaguar)

The design was by Giorgetto Guigiaro, famous for the MK1 Golf and who still designs beautifull cars to this day.
