Ode To Maura

Maura is real tall When she rides her bike she falls She got a swimsuit at the mall But she is still my friend She digs in the dirt all day And listens to whatever I have to say She's quitting the end of May But she is still my friend We talk about lots of things There are lots of songs we sing Sometimes dirt she flings(at me) But she is still my friend We discuss our dreams Share a fear of wooden beams (one's nailed by Thoma's) Our friendship may not be what it seems But she is still my friend Someday we will part And we wont do stupid things like go to Wal-Mart But she'll be in my heart Because she is my friend ~(c) Hollie, May 22, 2000 (revised May 26, 2000) 1999 don't forget to remember the cross!
