The Blind Fools Evolution Dictionary

Stuck between Darwin's 'The Origin of Species' and God's 'Bible' you will find the Blind Fools Evolution Dictionary.

This invaluable resource ('cause it probably ain't worth nuthin') is a Blind Fools' definitive view on the defunct theory of goo-to-you macro-evolution.

And we invite you, the public, to e-mail us with entries to help build it up to a volumus giganticus. Be sure to check back often for additions.

Hopefully one day it will evolve into an encyclopedia (live the dream).

A

Anthropic Principle

1. The optical illusion that the earth and universe are precisely designed to support life.

2. Any conscious being who is able to reflect upon his surroundings will naturally see all the randomly chaotic events happening around him as orderly and miraculous when in fact they are merely chaotic and random.

3. Actually, in order to judge something as chaotic and random, you must have some type of order in which to judge it against. So the universe is neither orderly nor chaotic, it is just the way it is (does this clear things up?).

4. See "many worlds hypothesis"

5. See "participatory anthropic principle"

Atheism

1. The faith that God does not exist.

Atheist

1. A believer in the faith that God does not exist.

B

Big Bang

1. Nothing (or a very very small something) exploded and produced everything that exists which is the Universe.

2. Everything made itself - for any cause outside of said Big Bang would have to be outside of Nature (supernatural) and that won't fly in today's society.

C

D

DNA

1. Biological information (the question of the origin of life must be directed to this).

2. A set of random jibberish telling the cell how to evolve proteins.

3. A single cell of the human body contains as much random jibberish as the Encyclopedia Britannica - all thirty volumes - three or four times over.

4. Has a high information content which defies both chance and natural law which lead to structures with low information content.

5. Death blow to the theory of evolution.

E

Edumacation (public)

1. Where Darwin Freaks get to shove their own theory/faith of evolution down our childrens' throats while censoring opposing scientific view points and forcing us ALL to pay for it.

2. Worked well for Communists and Nazis.

3. China too.

Evolution

1. There was once a time when none of the creatures in the world had lungs (i.e. fish). This means that there was no genetic information (the 'blueprint' for living things, carried on the molecule DNA) for lungs - anywhere. Then, at a later time, 'lung information' arose and was added to the world (i.e. killer whales and cute dolphins and even lungfishies), but no 'feather information' as yet - feathers evolved later (i.e. birds).

2. Not observable since it happens slowly over millions of years.

3. Nothing scientifically true about it.

4. A really really bad 2001 science fiction movie.

5. The fairy tale of a frog turning into a prince (just a bit slower, that's all)

6. Creation myth of atheists.

F

Faith

1. The substance of fossils hoped for, the evidence of links unseen.

H

Human

1. See "monkey"

Humanist

1. An atheist trying to fill that God shaped void in his soul.

Hybrid

1. Involves the nuclear DNA of two individuals coming together in stable arrangement so that cell division can occur through doubling of chromosomes and division, with each cell receiving more or less equal complements of each parent's DNA.

2. Still just a foggy dream in the world of macro-evolution.

3. The attaching of an orangutan's jaw to a human skull if you can get away with it.

I

J

Jurassic Park

1. A prehistoric recreational area for young dinosaurs to play.

2. The toughest part of a caveman's driving test.

K

Kinds

1. The optical illusion that living things reproduce true-to-their-kind.

2. A limited amount of natural variation is bounded within these kinds.

3. The writers of Genesis got lucky when they wrote about this thousands of years ago.

L

Life

1. See "pond scum"

2. A cosmic accident of biblical proportions.

3. Just chemicals, really.

M

Mammal

1. See "rat"

Many Worlds Hypothesis

1. In order to explain away the anthropic principle, this naturalistic secular theory states that an infinite number of universes exist, all with different laws and different values for fundamental numbers.

2. Most of them are dark, lifeless places. But by sheer probability, some will have just the right structure to support life.

3. Purely the product of scientific imagination - they are inherently impossible to detect because the would be "supernatural" in context with our universe which, to us, is all there is. And we CAN'T have any supernatural talk going on around here!

4. A groooovy idea, baby. Can I take another hit?

Monkey

1. See "mammal"

2. Evolved from sea monkeys.

Mutations

1. A copying mistake (like a tipyng eror), an accidental change in the DNA code passed on to the offspring (your baby).

2. Do not create meaningful paragraphs or chapters of information - they only corrupt it existing imformation.

3. Supposed to be good for evolution, but the LAST thing you want to hear as the proud parent of a brand spanking new baby boy or girl or whatever.

N

Naturalism

1. Theory that only nature exists.

2. Nature is all there is.

3. Science can't really prove it because it only deals with observing natural phenomenon.

4. It is a faith.

5. See 'Miracles' by C.S. Lewis

Natural Selection

1. Serves to prevent evolution by screening out changes.

2. Presupposes beginning with a wide variety of species in which some are selected.

3. War.

4. Do I choose to "super size" my order or not?

Neo (new) Darwinism

1. Plan "B" for those who used to believe that natural selection was the driving force of evolution.

2. Considers genetic mutations as the source of evolutionary change.

O

P

Panspermia

1. Has nothing to do with cooking utensils.

2. The belief that life must have come to earth from outer space.

3. Only pushes the problem of spontaneous life generation back a little further.

4. The thought of generates some rather humorous visuals.

Participatory Anthropic Principle

1. In order to explain away the anthropic principle, this naturalistic secular theory states that the universe did not fully exist until human beings emerged to observe it.

2. In order to become fully real, the universe decided to evolve human consciousness.

3. We're not making this stuff up folks.

4. Do you need some asprin now?

Pond Scum

1. See "human"

Protoplasm

1. A term once used in Darwin's day for the fundamental material of which all living things were thought to be composed.

2. Has now been replaced with the Force, Luke.

R

Rat

1. See "life"

Science

1. Consists of "operational" and "historical" fields.

2. Operational has inferences and conclusions closely related to the experiments with little room for speculation.

3. Historical is very limited because experiments cannot be directly conducted om past events and history which cannot be repeated.

4. Historical science inferences require a lot of guesswork.

5. Time machines will solve this problem, though.

6. Historical science's only credibility is from riding the coat tails of the operational sciences.

7. Conflicts between science and religion occur with HISTORICAL science, not operational science.

8. Many historical scientists base their science on their faith - naturalism.

Speciation

1. Variation within a species.

2. Evolutionists favorite argument - supposedly shows that evolution from one species into another is possible. They must use this since macro-evolution is not observable since it happens over long periods of time.

3. I once tried to breed my cat with my dog to see if it was true, and I have the scars to prove it.
