I Wish We Knew

I wish I knew,
How you were doing,
I wish I knew,
Who you became from the last time I saw you,
I wish I knew,
The right words to say,
But there are no right words to say,
I wish I knew,
Before it was too late,
I wish I knew,
How I could have helped,
How I could have kept you from what you did,
I wish you knew,
What you've done,
I wish you knew,
How you could have been helped,
I wish you knew,
That the only people you've hurt is all those who knew you,
That you are in no pain,
While those of us still here are suffering,
I wish you knew,
How much all your family and relatives love you,
I wish you knew,
How much I love you,
I wish we knew,
What we've become,
I wish we knew,
That you were okay,
I wish I knew,
How to end these tears,
I wish I knew,
How I could ease all the pain,
I wish we knew,
But you don't, I don't and we don't; all I know is that I miss you.

That is the poem that I wrote for Christina, the very night that I found out that she had died. It was how I felt at the time, and how I feel now. Goodbye Christina.
