Texas Style Baked Beans
What you'll need
- 3 15oz cans of pork and beans(drained of liquid)
- 4 strips of bacon(cut into small pieces)
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 cup Ketsup
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (NOT garlic salt)
Directions
Over medium heat in large skillet.
Saute onions and bacon, until onions are transparent.
Add all other ingredients and stir well.
Salt and Pepper may be added to taste.
Reduce heat and simmer about 20 minutes, or until sauce is thick, stirring freqently.
Serve Hot. Goes great with my potato salad :-)
