I like to collect chess games from all periods and by players of all strengths. As I have time, I will release a variety of pgn files I have prepared and extracted from my games database. Although primarily for my own use, hopefully these might be of interest to other games collectors and/or avid book builders! As the database compilation involves an element of (time consuming!) manual sorting some 'rogue' games may have escaped my attention. If you find any games which I have missed but clearly should have been omitted, please let me know Files are available on my download

2650+ classic Includes games played between players who are both rated at least 2650 ELO. Games date from between 1894 and 2005, and so include virtual ratings, for period prior to the introduction of ELO in 1971.Duplicate games have been removed and the database manually cleaned to exclude the following games:
Master Minatures Includes over 11,000 games played between players both rated
at least 2400 ELO (or virtual ELO for games before 1971, though most games are
after this date). All games are decisive (ie win or lose, no draws) in 25 moves
or less. All duplicate games have been removed.
