EndGame

Earth. Unknown point in the future. Ends in destruction. Technology so advanced yet unable to prevent the total annihialation of human culture. A number of meteorites crash into earth and the moon leaving 3 shattered satelites orbiting the earth which was itself drasticly altered by the shifts in gravity. Storms floods and earthqauakes tear the planet assunder. In the time that passed durring the great armogeddon roughly 70% of all life on earth was wiped out. after the breaking the remnants of humanity struggled to survive clinging to what little they had left of thier past lives.

governments crumbled leaving nomadic tribes and warlord held realms. groups formed, conquered thier nieghbors and were in turn conquered themselves by others. Endless bloodshed it seemed. Tyrants grasped at the broken remains of a once mighty society. Over the following decades that which we knew was all but lost and within several generations memory of how things were faded into myth. Reduced from such hieghts to such a terrible depth yet life continued. Humanity continued albeit a changed humanity. Some clung desperately to science and maintained technological marvels from the lost age. the Mystique of thier technology would be magic in the eyes of the common people. In the awe of such rare power a religion ex machera spawned unto the earth and ate up those who fell under its sway.

Bastions of military might and scientific achievement used drastic and inhuman methods to insure thier own survival at the cost of thier humanity and the lives of thier enslaved peoples. the machera, the devil of technology sent its tendrils out to consume humanity. Thier power was not in overwhelming numbers, instead the machera drew in those with weak minds and greedy hearts with seductive promises of power and domination over thier peers. The machera is known but its plans are not. However the infiltration of thier spies and some very succesfull skirmishes have made the survivors of earth wary of this devious foe.

Elsewhere in the world the obliterated lands currupted by toxins and covered in radioactive fallout brought forth creatures that once were men but now were something very different. the beast, the evolutionary mistakes of science chemistry pollution and insanity. these lurking things crawled into the bowels of the earth to spawn, to multiply. feasting on the weakest of themselves to make the strongest of them mightier and they did flourish in the darkness. The apetite of the beast is never sated and it craves all before it. the beast legion rises from the netherpits and the sub-ways and the endless filthy tunnel systems below the ground to make raids into the night to feast and to take thier pleasures and thier prizes.

The people of earth were not defenseless against these things that stalked the night. Some were strong and brave enough to bear arms against the invaders some were born with a genetic variation known as the z chromasome that allowed them to perform feats that seemed to warp reality to thier aid using mind to overcome matter. a Magik to some a god given power to others. However they tapped into this inner strength they were capable of using it to force back the beast. In confusion the filthy horde lurched back to its realm to heal the wounds of thier unexpected defeat. The triumph of men sparked a deep bloodlust on the beast and it would revenge itself in time.

RACES:
Humans - the neoborn offspring of the oldworld the natural and the pure. the most unchanged of what was. but among them are the messiah. street preachers who hold a following to praise the old tech-gods, who in turn praise the mighty cardinals who secretly hold powerfull old world weapons and other technology that is so rare in this time. and finnaly the false prophets who are the spies of the machera or those that do not share the views of the church and the cardinals. some of the neoborn with the Z-chromasome can tap into the hidden powers of the new humanity. Psychic, magic, prayer whatever you call it. they have a true power to make what cannot be real a reality. the return of magik to the world. skills- any warrior thief wizard or priest skills

Machera - the machine. led by the elders the surviving remnants of past men of tremendous power in the world who survive through inhuman technological adaptation. they are the hive mind. thier drones are the machine. the robotic. the military war machine of the old world. and the lower eschelon of thier ranks are the humans brought into the fold more recently such as the adapted and enhanced phreakers, the mechabrawlers, machineheads and gear factories. all nicknames given to those who have sold thier souls to the machera. skills- some warrior skills some thefting and any bot tech

Beast - they call themselves the vyctums in thier own language. victims of the bane that is and was humanity. a religious ferver to destroy thier opressors the terrible human race that spawned them brings them to orgies of bloodlust and violent rage. skills- anything but the bot tech


terrain types:

wilderness - forests streams trees lakes overgrown bushes and wildlife roam
neo-holding - a town village community etc of human settlers
ruins - fortified cities built on the remnants of old world cities

adjunct - a smaller post for the machera to hold for one reason or another
node - a major base of operations for an elder to mass his forces
nexus - the superbunker which conceals the ancient evil known as elder

the deep - spawning ground of the beast. sewers mines cave systems sometimes extending
up into ruins or connecting out into wilderness

i want to be a vyctim i have 6 points to use on my stats each is 1 to start and i can add up to 3 in one of my stats so each will be something from 1-4 a 5 is possible but not untill later STR i want a strong beast so ill give it 1+2 to make it fast and vicious CON i will give it 1+2 here so ill get 18 hit points a tough beast DEX 1+1 dex for ok hit dodge and aim INT 1+1 intelligence so i get 12 skills to start with at good level now i can pick 12 skills. the DM will guide my choices so they make sense and if we disagree then we will debate it shortly. the DM has final say. kick berserk hand2hand circle backstab terorize fly horn bite claw roar devour ill name him Cha'Naar of rage brood no equipment
