The meaning of colours
I am an addict for purple. I just have to admit that. Many of us have a favourite colour or two that we like to suround our selfs in. Ever wondered what that tellls you about yourself or others? No? Well then I sugest you better go find yourself something else to do other then reading this. .........unless I got you curious by now. Well enjoy anyway!
RED
Positive values:

Red is the basis of all live, the will to live and reproduce. It is action and excitement, and the courage to overcome and solve problems in spite of temporary defeat. Red is the colour which dissolves fear, worry and depression. It has warmth and vitality, and is a stimulant and an energizer.
If you like red, you love live and wish to live it at its fullest. Your days are packed with action or adventure, or you wish them to be. You relish thrilling experiences and exciting events. A neutral path is not your choice, as you dive headlong into situations, not always considering the consequences of your actions. Happines is a requisite in your live, and when you are unhappy everyone is to blame but yourself. You always expect to be on top, and might become unduly upset if live does not come up to your expectations. You form opinions quickly, yet are not overity stubborn about having things your way. Monotony is something you can not tolerate, so you are constantly seeking new vistas and horizons. Courage and the will to succeed are part of your character. Obstacles are there for you to overcome, and you will do so. You enjoy companionship for yours is not a solitary or introspective nature. Orange is the colour of energy, and love of companionship. Orange will overcome depression and nervousness and add courage and hope.
Orange is also the colour of joy and enthusiasm. It blends the action of red with the intellect of yellow. If you like orange, you are cheerful and charming. You like people and they like you. You get along well with everyone, regardless of their tastes or their station in live. Your love of people is based on companionship rather then passion. Your feeling of joy and elation is apparent to others, and they seek your friendship. Live gives you what you want, and you are very self-sufficient. Obstacels do not hinder you for you van easily overcome them. You would do well in any vocation where you deal with the public. You have a winning personality and your good nature draws people to you. You are anxious to have others like you and may sometimes agree with opinions simply to gain this objective. Yellow is the colour of mind, the intellect and intelligence of man. It is the colour for study and learning. It is brightness, newness and open-mindness. This colour inspires creativity and new thoughts.
Also yellow is the colour of imagination. If you like yellow, you are a cheerful person who looks forward to the future. You welcome change and new ideas. You have a nervous drive that seekd forfillment for yourself and leads you down many paths of investigation. Books and studies appeal to you and you are intrigued by the mysterious and unexplained. You are interested in the occult, and metaphysics holds a great deal of appeal for you. You value your own image and would hesitate to do anything unbecoming. You have a good capacity for reasoning and judgements are soundly formed. Intellectual ability impresses you and you are likely to become impatient with the viewpoint of others, especialy if you feel they are unwilling to listen or learn. You are optimistic about the future, and believe in man s ability to conquer both inner and outer space. Sometimes you feel yourself set apart from others as you cannot find others who share your viewpoints or your capabilities. Green represents normalcy and balance. If you like green, you are a good neighbour, home-maker, parent, voter and joiner. Green is the favorite of many American upper class. You like to keep up with the neighbours, are sensitive to social customs and are a good citizen. A deep capacity for loyalty and affection makes you an exellent friend, husband or wife. You are generally well-educated, reputable and financially secure. You would make a good teacher or minor executive. You are able to carry out plans rather than originate them. Once you feel that you are right, nothing can change your mind. You have all the ability necesaary to gain success if you are willing to apply yourself. You are fond of social eventsand good food. Sometimes you take life too easy. people who like green seldom have serious mental ailments, but might have some minour neuroses. Purple is not a favorite colour with most people, and it is not uncomman to find it in the indifferent group. The characteristics it represents are not those valued by the majority.
TURQUOISE

You try to shroud yourself with mystery and intrigue. Black is dignified and regal and often impressive. It can become a background for jewel-like qualities of the other colours. Black has long been the symbol for knowledge and wisdom. The robes of judges have always been black, as have the graduation gowns of those who achievedscholastic attainments. There are more negative values to black that to any other colour, and these are the qualities we associate with black to a large degree.
