Well, Funaho is Yosho's mother, Achika's grandmother, and Tenchi's great-grandmother.

Funaho comes from Earth and is Azusa's 1st wife. When she married Azusa, her life span increased greatly (no DUH, looks 20, but tenchi's GREAT-grandmother) because of Tsunami's power.The circle on her forehead is supposed to mean that Tsunami has blessed you. Normally you are born with this, but since Funaho wanted to be accepted by the Jurain nobles, she painted hers on her forehead.
