Lil’ Washu, the greatest scientific genius in the entire universe . . . and the creator (technically mother also) of Ryoko. She’s also the creator of Soja, Ryo-oki, and so much more in her 20,000 life span that she can’t keep track of it.

Washu was once a goddess along with her sisters’ Tokimi and Tsunami. Washu was the grey side, Tokimi was the dark, and Tsunami was the light side. She was a strong as her sisters, but somehow, Tokimi took away Washu’s power as a goddess and captured them into 3 gems (Ryoko’s gems). Washu, without her goddess power’s was now a mortal (although that still doesn’t apply because she’s lived for over 20,000 years).

Washu’s inventions: Soja was was created by Washu in an attempt to either control the universe or destroy it (which ever her mood). Washu has also created multiple weapons capable of destroying whole galaxies. (the reason why she was kicked out of the science academy) Also created were Ryoko and Ryo-oki. Ryoko was created from Washu’s ovum (egg cell) and a creature called Mass (explained later). Ryo-oki was created from Washu’s ovum, mass and an unknown mineral. Ryoko was created to control the 3 gems that contained Washu’s “goddess power”.

Mass is a small, round like organism that lives in gigantic numbers. All of these small organisms group together to form one, whole, organism. If they feel threatened, they can perform mass destruction (hence their name) by throwing themselves as projectiles at the offending party.

Also, Washu had a husband once, whom she also had a child. One day, the husband left her, taking the child with him because his social class was far above hers and he didn’t want to face his parents disapproval. Such a shallow wuss. . .
